Not true. If you can get control, be slightly more aggressive safely. Cause if you poke them with the mins (mid mainly) then you can control early I have learned.

You can play safe, but you just can't carry if your team put the enemy team way ahead. While champions like Katarina, or Irelia for example can take over after 2 or 3 kills in teamfights.... Orianna is a scaler.

A champ with high skill ceiling means, there is alot of ways in which you can improve with the champ, basically the winrate of the champion is tied to the skill of the player. As an Ori main from the regular game, I was shocked as to how much easier they made her in Wild Rift. The fact of her ball being autolocking onto champs now so you don't have to aim it, and being able to shield yourself by just tapping on E instead of needing a hotkey to selfcast it.

Dont unlock oriana until you have experience with the game. She is only good with skilled players. Unlock safer champs that you can build defensive items for without losing too much dmg. Sett is a good place to start, or teemo and never leave turret

I started with Orianna and it was a pain at first but she was the perfect champ to start getting used to the game, its mechanics and playing a champ with mechanics all in one. Besides, she's a safe champ too.
Orianna, played her a lot when I started WR, but I didn't play her for many, many, month. I will play her today in a few PVP to get used to her again 🙂

The one downgrade to Orianna is that she doesn't affect the eraly game too much and if your team ints, you can hardly fix it.
I agree, in those situations you just win your lane and go gank other lanes to get them ahead... I do that when my team ints

The basic attack advice is good for anyone who uses Electrocute. I don't see many mages use basic attacks to trigger the rune
