Love 1.8 civics in this generation very reliable and fun to drive I've had 3 civics of this generation with the 1.8 I vtec engine now have a honda accord 2.4 i vtec honda accord 2005 almost faultless car but still a joy to drive . I wish cars were still made this way.
Absolutely solid mechanically these cars, love mine. I hated how these looked when they came out but they have aged like a fine wine. I have had some electrical faults and minor build quality issues but in terms of the bits that matters, the mechanicals and the engine, it won’t give you any headaches. 😊
