Music track thanks to one of my favorite games and soundtracks - Raiden IV.
A percentage of the sales will be going to Anthony and Kris - son and daughter of the original creator.

This is absolutely awesome, I will eventually get a set of these. RIP to a man who supported the FGC before we even called it the FGC! I asked for and got an original Mas stick in high school, so probably 2002 or so.

I'm too excited. The original mas sticks were tanks. I owned 2 then sold them when I was a young adult. I regretted it seeing how the prices for used ones went up. I also missed how the American parts and wood case were designed to take a beating.
My biggest concern with newer plastic sticks was how they felt like they could dent or scratch easily and they rarely support American-ish happ-ish type parts.

Please tell me you will have room for a wico perfect 360 joystick for those of us that want that OG MVC2 joystick feel?

@@ScanlineCity will you be providing some sort of optical stick option for the Neo (i.e. not a classic optical that would be crazy expensive/hard to source, but a decent/"good enough" new optical that would at least be better than standard Happ w/ microswitches)?

Awesome to see such a legendary product being brought back for the MASses! While I was never a huge fan of American Style parts, I can't deny the impact they've had on the scene, and the gap that's been left by not supporting them on many newer fight sticks. Hopefully this will open up the floodgates to a rise of American Style fight sticks once again!

In a previous life, way back as a teenager I sent away via money order to buy a MAS from Thao all the way from the other side of the country. I still have it, recently fixed it up and it remains my most valued gaming related possession. Very much looking forward to seeing the final offerings and almost certainly going to order one of the custom builds.

I was browsing for Seimitsu parts on some HRAP3s that I was inspired to customize by your videos, and came upon the news of the passing of the original MAS creators. Knowing your relationship, I immediately began thinking how Scanline would honor them in his upcoming release knowing how he never allowed elitism to prevent him from honoring the great American sticks. Beyond Impressed !

MAS Systems, I remember driving to their warehouse to get it fixed cause of all the time I put into it. After using it so much I felt I would break the Japanese style sticks that came afterwards cause they felt so loose. Hope to get one when it comes out.

@@ScanlineCity Sweeeeeet. You should add a high quality Spinner on there that works with MiSTer. Thats what I would do. Its pretty annoying to get a spinner for the average person. There is a good one (Ultimate MiSTer Spinner Pro) but its always out of stock. Having it on an awesome stick would be ideal. You can buy the actual spinner mechanism cheap.... but I dont know about the knob and whatever board or whatever else you need.

I've owned two of the original over the years. I miss mine but I wanted something for the modern era so I kept holding off on getting an old one. This might be what I wanted.

It'd be great if the ordering process for these included the option of dual modding with an UFB and a retro board. Some of the stick config ordering systems on some sites go over my head right now.

The Mas. This baby can take a beating and still be functional. True fact. I've seen people also use these baby's as a sitting stool. That's gangster.
No shots of the cable. It looks like it will be detachable which is nice but no compartment to store it or any cable organiser. This is standard in this day and age for a modem arcade stick.

Which consists of the Mad Catz Chun-Li Edition TE and TE2, the Sega Saturn virtual sick and twin-stick, the Dreamcast Green Goblin, the hori Soul Calibur blue stick, and the Sega Astro City stick.

This stick apparently doesn't work with the undamned USB decoder (firmware 1.4d). Would scanline city be able to test it out to see why that is? We were unable to have John Choi use his stick on our supergun setups due to this restriction. I'm not sure if it was a power differential situation. We even tried to used a powered USB adapter and connecting the stick through that to the undamned converters and it still did not work. Would be great if we can get some resolution on this issue.
Arcade Shock did the wiring PCB etc on John’s stick. We will look into that for sure. We also plan on offering DB15 specific builds as well
I still got an old massytems I bust out with and adapter. The OG PS2 ones. I wonder what it's worth?

It has certainly been a while since March. Or, maybe the other videos are posted somewhere else. This doesn't seem to be crowdfunded though, so I can understand any gap in communication.
I hope development is going well. Even if I can't afford one, I would love to see them get made.

I am REALLY tempted to get one of these, but i honestly fear that import fees to EU will be quite restrictive when coupled with the original price.
Are you going to offer stock to any EU retailers?
I need to look more into this. It’s very important to us that EU customers get these without paying high fees. What are some popular EU retailers ?
