All they did was change the grind from eights to silver. I find it ridiculous that i have to gather helm resources just to make silver and then get eights. And lets not forget that we cant even sell the glhelm commodities to make any income that way becouse it all needs to go to eights,Seriously, we are supposed to be pirates, and now I'm feeling like a merchant instead.
I know the feeling William, i've not played it much since this video, you need about 20 hours a week to just kill ships to get silver and also to get helm materials.
@igotnolegz I find that I constantly have to attack forts, and even that's becoming a chore since no one is willing to help half the time. Games dying I feel and it has so much potential
@@williamdennis7652 Yeah i am the same, even tho they've made the chat available people dont even look at it to help. The game is dying now because people are struggling, ive had more comments on my videos with people struggling and some trolls saying they are fine for silver.
3:32 You do the Supply Fort Plunders, you get so much from them if you do it every hour after it refreshes you can make millions of silver each day if you play least 3h 👍
I have learned to keep a happy balance to where I am getting enough Po8 to get enough sovereigns to get the items i want in the game. Because of this i am going into Season 2 with a plan of just getting a few manufactories that are easy in and out, level them to 10 and get the amount of 8s to keep MY gameplay happy. Once you figure out that it's not worth your time to upgrade everything to keep up with the die hards out there you will find your happy balance. This game is certainly a love hate relationship. I find i have to psych myself up just to log in to do a collection but when i get into a rhythm i have fun. Play at your own pace.
You need a mix of upgrades to the empire map and legendary cutthroat map missions. General pirate activities don't really help in the endgame.
yes, but the manufactory runs for longer. instead of two promotions, one is now enough. That's the same amount. Sell the rum and gin, tabacco to the leaders. I have no problem with silver and a currency from 800k always
I have all factories in the regions level 10. I fund all of them all the time and i dont have silver issues. First is that you really need the upgrades and you need to do the fort plunders, not just the rovings. Fort plunders are fun, as well and challenging if you solo them.
I love the 18 Hour funding window, stockpile all helm resources, refine into gold materials, sell gin and rum to scurlock, opium and snuff to rahma, make 750k silver every other day, fund manufactories, gather more materials, collect po8, repeat. I hauled 110,000 po8 off my pickups today.
Tried all that, i just dont have the patients keep picking up only 200 materials every hour its silly. I've got to the point now i am just funding once a week.

someone hasn't put any upgrades in the fort plunders and it shows... those should be giving like 400 each or so. the megafort would give 1k or so.
I've only unlocked the Red Isle Manufactories and i probably won't even expand into the other parts because the Red Isle manufactories are easily accessible and i don't have to travel far to collect. Fully upgraded, they'll provide me with all the Pieces of Eight i need without cleaning me out of all my silver😅
It's at least 2.5 million to fund all my outposts currently
Yep it’s a joke and not enough stuff you can get to get to that point to fund it. There isn’t enough poppy etc to even create rum and gin.
@@igotnolegzif you do the fort plunders through the helm every day and more than once even, you will get tons of helm material to make silver, it’s no big thing

To farm the Helm Materials... all you need to do is take the 6 missions from the order board in the helm office... go and sit in front of Telok and ships carrying Helm materials will come steady at you all day long. each one you sink will give you around 20 to 30 helm materials each and you can sink them by the 100's couple of hours grinding make you a few thousand of each easy. I have 16 million silver on hand 75K gold rum and Black opium on hand and after 3 mill PO8 collected I mothballs the Manufactories.

I figured it was gonna be that way, but there a video “lazy way to farm…" seems better to do capital city 1st, eventually upgrade others. But games lately becoming a less enjoyment and now job like. But it’s also the video promotion in courage them by saying “we finish it now it’s boring” this game should have what assassin creed Valhalla had, a dlc pack that increases money and exp, they need to realize majority of their players are working people. So if they added a dlc that increases I buy it in a heart beat.
This is all I do. Funding my level 8 (I have 7 of them, the rest are 4's) and that takes 600k. All I do is make gold skull rum and sell to Scurlock. Get helm supplies, make rum, sell to Scurlock. I've gone to no man's sky
I’m glad it’s not just me, it’s just made the game not enjoyable anymore because it’s far too expensive to fund.
Well at the end of the day what do you really need PO8 for after you make 100k or so you really can't spend it on anything else....
Yeah when you’ve done all the helm upgrade and got most of the stuff from black market you can’t really use the pieces of eight
You'll need more Po8's for future released items as well as needing to relevel all the factories and The Helm sheets at your desk at the start of each season, so might as well stock up as much as you can to make it easier for you in the future.

@@igotnolegzit’s plenty , more than plenty if you do the fort plunders through the helm, you get tons of stuff to make what you need to sell, I’m currently well over 9999999+ on silver and not running out
I never let my silver drop below 999,999.I have 24 manufactures at level 10 and that's plenty for me.I now enjoy playing the game with my pal.Do not get an obsession with P8.
U can do they missions every hour but, I make like 2 million a day doing then like 5 times a day and I have the full map and it's enough to cover them made 700000 pieces of eight last week

Don’t do all the manufactories. I am only now starting to have trouble funding. I have 24 lvl 10 factories. Funding lasts 2 days for about 50k each
Do the upgrades !!! They decrease the cost. I pay around 30k max for a factory. I have all factories level 10 and they are always funded. All of them, and all the time.

Yeah i do that pal, its just frustrating as they take ages to do at the Helm Distillery and every hour i think is too long, they should be about every 15 mins i think, its also annoying when you are trying to destroy them and someone else comes along and kills your ships lol
I'm about to drop this game. It's hard to gain..damn near impossible to take those forts to get the drill bits.. and those damn scrolls on the screen..and those small boat able to sink larger boats.. game is backwards as hell..

You paid for the game? Ubisoft happy. My advise: Fund them all and hold when full, grind 5 days Roving missions, anything else than spending silver, you'll get to a ballance eventually.
I didn’t pay I have Ubisoft plus. Yeah tried that but still shouldn’t be like that though.
