  • This video is about both a Massey Ferguson 8737 and a John Deere R7 pulling 2 MF 2270 HD balers.
The tractors and balers are part of Austwick Farming Ltd's farming and contracting business which is based at Swinefleet in East Yorkshire.
The guys were busy trying to get the field cleared before the farmer wanted to get back in with cultivation gear.
You'll also see a JCB Fastrac and a Heath Bale Chaser pulling bales away to their storage site.

Terrific end of Harvest video, lovely time of day to film, not sure how those Tractors managed to cope with all of those hills. 🤣🤣🤣

My family farmed Goole fields and swinefleet common in the war years, I wonder what they would think about the machinery these days

Hi Peter, your dad probably knew my family as my relatives also farmed here before and after the war, but with horses rather than tractors 🚜😊👍

@@ANDYOLDRIDGEFARMINGVIDEOS true, grandad George was manager for Major Bros, they had farms all round Goole. Dad was born at Percy Lodge, moved across to Ayrmyn Grange, then on the common, Crowle moors which is now Barker's, I've lot's of happy memories of the stories they told. We've kept it going, my Son was at Crowle grange with John Johnson and them Moore's at butterwick and the co-op. We're ready pleased that grandson Ben is in his second year at bishop Burton. I hope he keeps his enthusiasm, he's doing three days at college and four at work, he's not had a day off in ages,, he went in Christmas day and boxing day to feed up.
