This video shows you how to install a new neutral safety switch from TRQ on your 2000-2007 Ford Focus. The neutral safety switch is a safety device that does not let your vehicle's engine start unless the transmission is in neutral. If the switch is malfunctioning, or failed, you may not be able to start your vehicle!
This repair was done on a 2006 Ford Focus ZX4 2.0L Sedan 4-Door FWD Automatic and the process should be similar on the following vehicles:
