All the small aesthetic details make the game shine as well; combat animations, different death animations and directional rag doll mechanics upon death really bring the action to life. Perfectly cartoonized style make for a fun experience, either playing or observing.
LotV is so freaking beautiful, that was a ridiculous, dynamic, and intense series by both players, you can feel how hard they gave it their all in the decisions they made. Amazing by the players, and also major props to Blizzard, I don't know how they improved SC2 so much since HotS. Damn!

How different would game 1 have been if soO had built 2 spores per base instead of just 1? We're talking about a 125 mineral investment per base, to basically completely shut down Liberator-harass, not to mention prevent Ghost-nukes & help fight off drops. I know pro-gamers don't like overinvesting in static defense but goddamn, just build a little bit more!!
I've been waiting for the round of 16 to start for so long and it felt like we haven't seen Maru play in 2 weeks and it showed in game 2 and 3 I wondered if he took a break from playing because he didn't look Godly like he did in the last rounds. Taking a break from starcraft can be huge difference in skill level. if I don't play for a few days timing gets all thrown off
