I am a diaper lover but also have medical issues both related to & not related to incontinence. I have suffered at least mild fecal incontinence all my life as well as bed wetting until 16 years old. The fecal incontinence was mild enough I didn't wear diapers for most part. I have a neurological spasm disorder that strangely responded positively to wearing a wet diaper. I also had a skin issue in that area that went away with continued exposure to wearing a wet diaper which I believe is due to high urea content in my urine. That was a very painful itch that caused to scratch & rub my skin until I had formed scabs all over my private area. Thats all gone now. The neurological disorder was myoclonus. A spasm disorder closely related to epilepsy & is typically treated with epilepsy drugs. Yes, I do also find being in a wet diaper sexually arousing, but in the context that it also has done so much else positive for me as well.
I'm 50 yrs. old and I've been into diapers since I was in my teens, maybe even pre-teens. I have no medical need to wear diapers, nor do I consider myself an *"Adult Baby".* There's nothing remotely sexual about my interest in diapers. It might be convenience. It's not being lazy or indifferent. Anytime I can't be near a toilet but I need to pee, I may need something to pee in.

I have worn diapers for many many many of years. My bladder wa extremely overactive when I started using them and now I almost no control. I get a sudden urge and in seconds I am peeing, even if I am walking or setting. Due to nerve disorders and IBS in the last 5 years I am starting to loose control over my bowel too. The bladder is no big deal but the bowel is pretty life changing. I am in my mid to late 40's and I could not live healthy productive life without the use. I do not own underwear of any kind and my diapers cost me over $200 a month. I do not do it for fun but there are some perks. Like all my middle age friends getting up 3 to 4 times a night to go pee. Not me I sleep solid and I never even know I have gone until I wake up in a wet diaper.
I ware a diaper and I have no shame about it. To me it feels good and safe. I first got into it when I had surgery on my spine as a teen. Yes, I am nonbinary and I do have some urinary incontinence. Even if I did not, I would prefer the diaper.
