Another awesome video from QFS!! A really great trip report, and the city / countryside tour at the end was spectacular!! Thanks for sharing!! Well done Quebec Foxtrot Sierra!!
Great shots of inside the cabin and the terminal at Heathrow too. What a bonus to see the northern lights. I have been to Reykjavik twice, both times via ship when I worked onboard. Now that I work for an airline, I might try Icelandic from YVR (interline). Impressive outdoor footage for the conclusion 👍🏼
My first trip to Europe back in 1972 was on Icelandic (DC-8 JFK to KEF, KEF to Luxembourg). Wonderful memories of that trip! And I have to say I enjoy your trip videos so much!
QFS! This notification just made my day! I’m so happy to see that you’re posting again and especially that you’re posting another ICELANDAIR review! I can’t wait for more of your content to be posted in the fall and hopefully I will be fortunate enough to meet you in real life at an airport some day! Have a good one!
Thank you for the tour. The last 4 minutes was amazing. Most people miss the natural beauty that is right before their eyes when visiting other countries. The under water capture reminded me of living in B.C. I was looking down into a crystal clear stream at Stanley Park. I thought it must 5 to 10 feet deep as I could see the bottom. It was 90 feet deep. Appreciate your time given to share this with us.
It sure was spectacular to see the northern lights. T2 sure is modern, cause I like some of the lights. Another thing I like, is seeing the time in military hours, cause I know military hours off the top of my head. I thought the fuselage was neat with the color(s) on the 757.
I liked everytime u include aurora borealis on the flight, a complete trip report from airlines to destination. u r polite and polished when interacting with FA and ground crew, Well Done!
Very useful video. I would've given the airport experience 3.5/5 or even 4/5 - based on the video - much better compared with the cramped rabbit runs of Stansted or Luton.
LHR T2 handles way more than the "occasional" long haul flight. It's home to all the Star Alliance carriers at LHR. Long haul flights from United, Air Canada, Thai, Singapore Airlines, Air India and Ethiopian, to name just a few.
I want to suggest a correction in the title.. Icelandair doesn't have "business" or "first" class. It's simply called Saga Premium, it's not labelled as anything else. It's simply a more "Premium" class than Economy. It seems unfair that people get disappointed as they expect to be flying "First" and "Business" and compare it to other International carrier's classes.
Be grateful it was only 2-2 config. Most European Business Classes have 3-3 with a blocked middle seat. There mostly no premium economy on European Flights
Great video as always Q. I don't want to intrude but I don't know what I want so, let me intrude anyway(😁). What are you doing in Iceland kiddo? I'm asking that because you've been visiting the country many times, and this is a place that I've never thought of going... Sorry for the indiscretion! 😇Thanks for sharing!
Great video however you did not show when the pilot and/or purser explained all pertinent cautions in english and Danish; I am not sure what language they speak sorry. Although the jet plane that Icelandair is using is an old trojan horse It seemed vey comfortable and roomy and the cabin was very clean as should be. You did not showed the altitude that the plane was flying at and if they gave you dessert separate from dinner as well as any cordials and a flight kit with amenities even though it was a 2 hour and 50 minute flight. Did they offer you champagne while boarding at Heathrow? Note: iit was funny to see the sign state take a seat as opposed to hear in the US it would state now boarding. Lol,Lol,Lol. Thanks again.
Viewing Quinton's videos, it seems he does not drink much (if any) alcohol. Quinton drinks orange juice, English breakfast tea, and soft Coke/Pepsi. One knows the airlines will serve alcoholic beverages to any and all if desired.
Thank you for your uploadings, great quality! As for me, I don't understand the point of business class in narrow body airplanes, ticket prices are high(even more expensive than on long haul if compare prices for one km of travelled distance), but seats are just large "granny's chair", and meal is usually poor. Only JetBlue managed to make great cabin with long haul like seats
Thanks QFS !!
757 one of my all time fave planes.
Another awesome video from QFS!! A really great trip report, and the city / countryside tour at the end was spectacular!! Thanks for sharing!! Well done Quebec Foxtrot Sierra!!
Damn the Aurora was cool!
Absolutely beautiful!!!
Thank you for the Video and its really nice, that you add some extra Content of your stay on Iceland.

Thanks Logan! You should try them out from Vancouver, Icelandair is great 🇮🇸😄
My flight with Icelandair is in 3 weeks and I had questions about the quality of the airline but this helped a lot!

I like the Northern Lights livery.

Great video, thanks a lot ! Is the 757 as "high powered" as I've heard say ? 🙂
Spectacular report. After my trip to Alaska this should be my next destination! Excellent jov, Quintin!

What luggage brand do you use, Quintin?
The backpack is a L.L.Bean Continental Rucksack and the suitcase is called "Briggs & Riley Spinners, Black, 22-inch Baseline Essential Carry-On"

Great report, but having no meal option is weird. At least like a non-meat option? It’s business class afterall

Nice report - and great shots of the 757-300 Thingvellir livery! What camera are you using?
Lasangaaa

QFS! Think you could swing by HNL or OGG for a trip report? Great quality flights on Hawaiian/Delta on select services.

Beautiful :) I was film with a Boeing 777-300ER Geneva to Zurich. World's shortest flight Boeing 777-300ER to my channel youtube
Boeing really needs to NextGen/MAX the 757. It hurts my heart to see them dwindling
rip old Iceland Air logo
Anyone remember where they were on 9/11
19:04 - An Iceland in.....Iceland?!! (If you're British, you'd get this)
SHOW.

great BC cabin: much better then the normal European bc with KLM, AF, LH etc! well, the lounge is very poor, more a busstop canteen!
Northern Pacific is trying to be like Icelandair but via Pacific Ocean and Alaska connecting Asia and North America together
May I know you came to Iceland for what?
