Well unfortunately I can't explain that simply in one video how to make the templates as it is the actual part of the build I'm trying hard to simplify by providing them. lol You see what I mean? But maybe one day I will make a series of video to explain how in details! I still have to think about how to do that efficiently ;)
I would just scale down the templates a lot, like to a 30 or 35% I think it should be enough, but it is difficult to tell for sure! Maybe try to scale a few templates from the chest piece and print them out, with those templates in hands you should be able to see if the scale you have will suit your 4 year old... :)
Do you have any suggestions to help me with the armor? I have recently finished up the helmet, but the thin layers you put on after to make it smooth.. just weren’t smooth! Another problem i have, is that my printer uses regular paper the size of notebook paper, but sometimes it isn’t the right size! Is there anything i can do?
To make the surface of it as smooth as possible you need to use a very thin cardboard and the you need to sand down it with sand paper, have you done that? About the patterns, there is a text file named "READ ME" in the folders you've downloaded that explains how to print them, don't hesitate to have a look on it, it's important for you to get them at the right size! ;)

Great video! The armor you made is super cool, but I have a nitpick on the title: you can't count armor without using some kind of unit(ex: a piece of armor, a suit of armor. Note that specific parts of armor can be counted, such as 'a pauldron'). I would suggest titles such as 'How to make a suit of mandalorian armor', 'How to make mandalorian armor', or 'How to make the mandalorian's armor'. I hope my comment doesn't sound rude to you.
if not the pennywise head, maybye sence you made the first infinity gauntlet you can make the nano gauntlet its the red ironman version of the infinity gauntlet.
Well cardboard is not a good material when it comes to that part unfortunately... so you have to be aware that painting it is gonna make all the imperfections much more visible, (That's the reason why I don't paint them), that being said I'm quite demanding with my props, maybe too much lol. I don't know about silver paint specifically but if you want to paint it I recommend you to use acrylic paint as it is a thick and opaque type of paint as opposed to water based paint that will soak the cardboard leading to very poor result 😉

That's a very broad question lol but the main tips I could give would be 1 try to work as much as you can on the details (at the end this is what will make the difference...) 2 try to think about the entire build before starting on it. You have to know pretty much how you're going to make everything before, that way you're sure that you'll be able to finish it with the result intended ;)
Ik it’s been in a while since you’ve had a comment but this is super cool and I’m gonna try this- I’ve been wanting to make madalorian armor for a while but didn’t want to 3D print or use foam (too complicated for me and needs other tools) so this uses easy materials and your tutorial is really clear thank so much!

on your templates you document a thickness of 0,4 cm /0,15 inches; 0,2 cm/0,1 inches; and 0,5cm/0,2 inches. I am confused as to what the corrugated board thickness should be in inches. is it 0.15, 0.1, and 0.2? thanks
That's because there is no need of 100% perfect match on the thickness thereby I rounded the numbers a bit to make them clearer... it goes the same way for the metric in cm; when I say 0,5cm it can be 0,45 or 0,55... it doesn't matter ;)

The templates are in life size, so if you want to make it smaller or bigger you basically just have to print them at a lower or higher percentage. At 100% they fit me well and I'm 176cm tall, but feel free to scale them down a bit if you need too ;) like at 95% or less if needed.

Glad I could help Sharififard! Well unfortunately there is no much of an armor to make for the predator... I could make the other wrist gauntlet and the canon and some weapons too, but that's about it.
