For my armor, intead of hot gluing all the stuff to my shirt, i used velcro with adhesive on the back

the free templates and video will really help me redo a few parts of my mandalorian armor. I'm doing mine with EVA foam but it should still work the same since it's a thin sheet.

Tip to new cardboard crafters: use appliance cardboard (the cardboard used to pack fans and such) they are much lighter so its much easier to cut and more bendable.

so um i printed the helmet template um so its kinda big to me becase the helmet doesent have adjustmanet on the templay so i use d foam inside untili it kinda fits me and now thats good😀

Hey Dustin, awesome work on this project and thanks so much for keeping it free! Question: How tall are you? How would this work on a person that's 6'1'' or 6'2''? Do you think there's any reason to scale up or scale down the templates for a bigger or smaller fit?
I'm a bit on the shorter side but I don't think scaling would be necessary. If anything maybe larger by a few %. Mainly the connection between the "chest" and "stomach" piece will need some more distance than mine when gluing.

So if you don't have a (hot)glue-gun you're screwed... And what if you've got this cardboard like 5mm cardboard. Iguess i'm screwed then too huh? Somone please respond!
You could just try tape instead of glue. But also you can grab a hot glue gun for under $10. Thicker cardboard is trickier but it will work.
Instead of cardboard could I use eva foam??. I'm brand new to this .

hi. love this video. my son wants to go as the mandolorean for world book day at school and they have to make the costumes themselves so we have watched this so many times. only question i have, how many cans of spray paint do you need of each colour? i dont want to run out half way through. also, what % size would you recommend printing out for an 8 year old. thanks and keep up the great work
Fun! Hmm, probably just one gray primer and one silver should be fine. I'm not totally sure on the % maybe try 80%... but one trick is that you can print at one size and then just cut out a few of the pieces of paper and hold them up first, to see what the sizing is like before you commit to tracing and cutting out cardboard. Good luck!

Hi! I want to make this for my son. He is tall and about the size of a 5-6 year old. What percentage do you suggest I print the template at? I printed the rifle at 75%. Should I do the same for the armor? Thank you! :) I LOVE what you do!
Thanks! Yeah 75% sounds about right but what I would do is print a few pages first and even cut a few out to hold them up and get an idea of the size. Then you can adjust before you print the rest and do all of the real cutting, tracing, cardboard.
