When you hear a new version of a favourite you’ve heard a million times and you’re hanging on every note, wow...stunning job guys this is wonderful. I hope wherever you are you’re playing this live when you can. I know all comments are subjective obviously so props to all the band top job...special for me I loved the squealing ‘Latin’ horns, The Dan should’ve done that 😀
Very impressive. Mr 'Nit Picker' here. The amount of effort to create the original is to be commended as is the mix, top stuff. I return to my point that to 'complete' the Steely Dan sound, one needs to find a vocalist that 'sounds' like Donald Fagan. Arguably half the sound. Great effort.
@@neonmeate8180 The point of my post (which you appear to have missed) was to highlight the fact that Steely Dan cover bands rarely if ever match Donald Fagens singing style. The music is always of a high quality, why skimp on the vocals?
Still hard to find a singer who's tone "cuts" like Donald Fagen. Even though, he initially thought he wasn't up to the job. Although, I did find this singer's rough tone an interesting change from all the others.
This SD tribute band has several singers to fit the mood of the song rather than trying to copy Fagen. I think they should have gotten another singer than the sax player.
Great Band! Excellent Singer/Bassist..its a pleasure to listen..
I am absolutely blown away, this is by far the best cover of Gaucho that I have ever heard. Love it.
me too. best cover. great ensemble. Poifect!
No Steely Dans version is far better!
Wow, they nailed this.
Bodacious cover!
they'll always be welcome here!
Hard enough to sing this song but playing bass same time bad ass buddy

I'm stunned by how good this is.
GREAT job, peeps. Maybe my favorite song ever, and you nailed it.
Best cover I´ve seen yet. Amazing
Joyful! Accurate and simply wonderful! Would have loved to seen it live!
Absolutely amazing cover... wow!
Great work! The voice on that bassist is very soothing.
Fabulous version! Great to see young musicians (Doing Dan composition before they were born). Fantastisch
Hi Dirty Logic. That was a really remarkable performance of a cool song. Not many bands would cover "gaucho". Well done. Thanks!
My God. This is exceptional
wow. if i can’t have the Dan singing it, this is next best. what a voice
Love this guys vocals
That voice holy shit
Tony Egan lead vocal for the Doctor Wu band out here in LA nice vocals my brother of the song love ya voice
So nice to keep good music still alive very well done
This is insanely well done.
Very good. Arguably one of the most difficult slow-tempo SD songs to do well, what with its counterpoint and heavily tripletted phrasing.
Beautiful
Absolutely awesome! Blown away!!!

Y'all played it like y'all wrote it.

The irony of nitpicking then spelling his name wrong is blowing my mind.

DOES it matter! It's in the interpretation. Chapeau
..love when that guitar comes in for the chorus.
Superb !!!!!!
this song is magical...
Great cover!
Just amazing
Spectacular!!
Loved it, pity that one of the harmony lines is just an octave up when there's another harmony line missing....
THAT killing sax...
Just perfect! Lead vocal is so awesome! Wonderful performance!
That was sick.

Svår låt. Svårt med svänget i det tempot, men ändå ok ❤
Difficult song. Hard to get it swinging. You’re really makin a good try ❤️
David Palmer could have sung this song in a beautiful voice….
The final guitar part is not a guitar solo, and should be played identical to the recording.
Changing it ruins the song, that's how I see it.
Oh God! That awful singing!
Am I the only one that sees a bit of Becker in the bass player/singer?..great stuff.
Excellent cover!
Superb
Excellent
