David Gerber I know your post was 3 years ago, but the reason for the lack of views is because there not that good. Listen to some of the Steely Dan tribute bands on YT. I think you’ll see what I mean.
Yeah, they were spot on! The lead singer--if she's the one farthest to the right--is particularly professional, and I enjoyed how she clearly was into it.
The lead singer is quite impressive. Not only virtually technically flawless, but the emotional connection to the material and phrasing so well done. I wish I could sing like that.
Geoff Bosco the first line is wrong, he simply sings the wrong notes for “to the sea”... the rhythm is consistently execrable, the second iteration of “so fine so young” ends horribly flat, where is your ear?

Decided on a whim to listen to this instead of the original, and put it through the Bass amp instead of the regular desktop speakers. Some mean drumming, and funky bass, loved the brass ensemble. What an excellent version this is!
I have been a huge S.D. fan since 1973 and I must say, this is so well done that it's hard to believe at first...but...@3:14 chills ran down my body. It IS that beautifully done. Babylon Sisters is not an easy piece to play right (I guess none of them really are) but Sam Bidgood & Co. nails it. It's a shame that more people haven't found out how good this ensemble REALLY is. So professional.
Nice job by everyone involved. Not sure about the vocal harmonies on “tell me I’m the only one”. Horns sound good, I like the leads voice, overall a very good band. You guys and gals are doing nice work.
After many plays. I can confirm this fact. That's cover is really good. But the most amazing is the lead voice. Really man ! Your voice is 80% of the reason why I get back again to lesson that tune.
