I think Niji EN is gradually moving forward to becoming the go to for international talents that includes ID and KR since the main branch don't seem to offer normal audition anymore and you have to be living in Japan to join. The EN branch would accept anyone as long you know how to speak a fair amount of English. Which is really cool of them, since they are giving a chance to everyone, we might have more ID speakers in the future too in EN
You could include JP folks because to join the main branch at the moment you have to pass through VTA, meaning take classes. Meloco is one example of this.
But man if an Indonesian got recruited to the EN branch in the future it feels quite like a betrayal to the ID branch who would have spend their time as an ID branch talent
he'd probably have to do the kind of occasional streams too like Millie does for us in PH where she sometimes stream in mother language just to have an engagement and keep in touch with own mother land. TBH it will be really good for his channel and can definitely bring more niji fans in future.

The difference is he audition for EN and not the main branch. Thats it. So basically, just because you speak other language, doesnt mean that you will be put on the branch thay you are fluent in. Thats why the latest audition for ID was cancelled and big chance that the models that were "leaked" before will never be used because they were supposed to be tied to the new wave for ID. And as we already know, there are no KR or ID speakers in the new waves for the main branch anymore, and all KR members that still there speak fluent Japanese too, logically, Ver doesnt fit to be in the main branch.
