Apparently there is a canisters on the back of this figures belt that I just don’t have after checking my review area. So I’m 0-4 on mafex figures this year that don’t have some kind of QC issue 🙄

Oh man, Marvel's The Batman. Legendary goof figure, probably going to be worth a nice chunk of change.
lol yeah part of me wishes I didn’t open it but then again no one would know this one had it haha
There's some inaccuracies on the Mafex and S.H Figuarts versions, due to them being based on promotional material. Both have a ''gun'' and a leg holster, which was probably the grappel gun on early development, but in the movie he has just a pouch on right leg.
Also the cowl has a chin strap for some reason
No, you can actually see the gun in film although it's up in the air if it's a sticky grenade gun or a grapple gun considering it's interpreted as either or

Great review! I can’t wait to get mine after the recall 😂 Quick note on the left hand: the “clip” I think is a communicator in a the movie. You can see him use it prior to the Batmobile chase. He talks to Gordon with it while he stands on the roof. For the grapnel gun (not the ones for the forearms) in universe it’s meant to be a sticky bomb launcher. We never actually see him use it in the movie but it’s labeled as a sticky bomb launcher both in concept art and with the accessory list for the Mezco figure.

Havent watched the video fully yet but in case you didnt mention it, be careful when articulating the torso. Its scratches the paint on the abdomen quite a bit cause of how sharp the points are and being hard plastic
It’s rubbed up on the inner thigh near the crotch a bit but thank you for the heads up on the torso
@@tfnutfor sure man. Ive actually sanded the points on the upper torso a bit to round then out so that it prevents further rub. Helps quite a bit

@@DARTHVADER-wy1ny I think he means he used sandpaper or a file to smoothen/round out the sharp part.

I decided to only get the mezco version, the mezco looks amazing and will probably win in the batman figure contest
Just got mine today and I am happy to report that the hook DOES come out of the grappling gun. It is not glued, just tight. Try some heat. If you think you might break it. I was very disappointed when you said it couldn’t be removed

18:39 That port is meant to hold a smaller cannister in a sleeve. I guess it either it fell off yours or came wrongly came without it.

My Batman’s foot broke instantly when I tried to move it. Just keep it in mind if you buy this figure, apply shock oil before you force something.
Gonna have my battinson with his eyeshadow on for display. Hes too pretty not too.

I believe Amiami has not shipped out a lot of peoples orders over the recall. They’ve been slow on a lot of shipments lately.
@@tfnut Yup, I'm waiting on four items to even reach the shipping stage. I think they were moving offices or something? Maybe that's the reason for the slow down? I'm sure they'll get it sorted and be back to normal service soon enough. Thanks.
That friggin thigh swivel is weird as hell. But if it works it works....I just hope MAFEX doesnt start doing this super often on figures moving forward.
Yeah I found it unnecessary and just kinda doesn’t work super well

I haven’t messed around with this in a while but from what I remember when moving earlier this year, the cape still holds up and hasn’t flaked yet
What were the issues with the shf version
Mostly the cape being really bad and proportions being off
