BNSF Grain and more in Oakland and Fremont Nebraska

To end off 2023, here’s a small railfanning trip I took a few days ago back to Oakland Nebraska on the Sioux City Sub, plus some trains in Fremont along the way. I know it’s not much, but it’s still better than no trains. Happy new year everyone.
No I did not stay outside the whole time while waiting for the BNSF grain in Oakland. I just went out to check for a train, went back inside, and ran out again when the train came. Stay warm when railfanning in the cold everyone.

When the video starts off with Pigstep you know it’s going to be good. In a world of PSR seeing a unit train is pretty neat, especially with all the old BNSF logo hoppers. We need more drink reviews!

I counted, and that BNSF grain was at least 100 cars, so it’s likely over 7,500 feet. Still, nice to see, and I’ve always enjoyed the “earthworm” BNSF hoppers.
