Reading the text messages from Stolas makes me want to cry. In the really big message he sends Blitz, Stolas says, " I enjoy being the subject of jest." It made me so sad.
The flower petals seems to be representing the "he loves me, he loves me not."
The first petal falls when Stolas sees that Blitz texted to check on him (he loves me). Another falls when Stolas realizes Blitz wasn't going to respond to his final text (he loves me not). Another falls when he places the phone down (he loves me) perhaps there is some sliver of hope in Stolas that Blitz may truly care for him. Then the flower's last petal falls, ending on (he loves me not).
And it continues after.
I think it's opposite. He loves stolas but neither can see through everything else happening.

So awesome to see Moxxie just sighing and beating the everliving sh*t out of those bikers. Shows how much tougher he's gotten. Also, Blitzo's reaction at the end "he can get hurt...?", might show that he never considered that Stolas could be taken from him. He probably has been expecting Stolas dismissing him, but not losing him to something happening.
Yeah. I was thinking how badass he's become.
I love that he makes his reactions only 1 hour after it releases!
What I absolutely love with Blitz' comment at the end also indicated that he realized Stolas could get hurt emotionally as well. As in, HE hurt Stolas with his attitude, by brushing him aside and avoiding meeting him when he can.
"He's got black blood?!"
We've known hellians have black blood for a while. The earliest instance I can think of where we saw black blood was season 1 episode 1 when Blitzo got shot in the arm, but there was also season 1 episode 2, when Blitzo was killing Stolas's would-be kidnappers/assassins, and the episode Striker first appeared in where he had black blood on his hand after fighting Millie and Moxie. There's probably other instances that aren't immediately jumping to mind, but main point being; black blood has been a very well established thing for quite a good while at this point.

Also want to give a true thank you to @EdBoscoVA for doing such a great performance as Striker! Norman (understandably) got too busy to do the show again, but still honored he was part of it! At least Striker is in good hands! 💕

I noticed almost immediately Norman didn’t voice Striker this time. I was a lil bummed because I was looking forward to hear him again, but it was so FUN to have Bosco back! 🖤
I just realized this is the first hellva boss episode where every main character got hurt or injured
Striker's voice actor gto switched out, but Edward Bosco isn't unknown in the Spindlehorse universe - his first appearence he had as Alastor in Hazbin Hotel. Then he had a few "guest roles" in Helluva Boss season 1
speaking of Hazbin Hotel - the scene at 18:00 reminds me of Angel Dust when he got thrown around and just said "harder daddy..."

I think it’s interesting to note that in the very beginning when Stolas was checking his phone, there was a reminder for what looks like a deal with Asmodeus in a few days’ time. I wonder what that’s all about 👀 Perhaps it’s in reference to the Asmodean crystals we saw in the book
The reason Loona didn't talk these last 2 episodes is because her VA is taking time to grieve her SO who died last year
Ahhhh! Im hyped. Definetly the best episode of the season since episode one. It was great to finally see the racism inps face, some more conflict between Blitzø and Stolas... and man the ending. I was sure it was Fitz at the end but i was pleasantly surprised! I hope you enjoyed it!
That was literally the first time I seen loona smile directly at blitzo that was fucking awesome
Additional detail:
At the end there's pedals falling, that's symbolism for "loves me, loves me not".
When Blitz texted him a pedal fell as loves me, and when he didn't a pedal fell as loves me not. Thought, at the end, when he had left the phone, one last pedal fell.

I have a strong suspicion that Stella and Andrealphus will try to turn Octavia against Stolas to make the most out of the divorce (and to hurt Stolas even more). That could explain that preview shot of Octavia telling Stolas off for choosing Blitz over her (which I and everyone strongly doubts he would ever do no matter what).
This episode was so good. You can kinda see what type of relationship Blitzø and Stolas have through texting. You're awesome Veggie!
The character in the zombie show "The Walking Dead" is named Daryl Dixon and Norman Reedus is the actor's name.

The "He can get hurt" plus blitz's face really hits hard, also I kind of feel blitz didn't anser on the question if he would want to visit, maybe cause he is scared of what he might see, as in how much stolas got hurt and actually coming the the realisation that he could have died and can die

I like that the texts fill in some context after Ozzie's that Stolas tried to communicate with Blitz and it seemed after finding Via it got slightly better between the two, but I wonder if after this episode, Stolas might try to give Blitz either more space or try to break it off. I hope not, but I just hope things get better between them. There's still an episode that's supposed to involve Fizz and Ozzie, so I can't wait for that in season 2.
Blitz broke promises before. He doesn’t want to make one to unintentionally break to his first and pretty much only friend.
We have to keep in mind that Blitz is an Imp, lowest social strata in Hell (that fish woman called him a racial slur) and we have NO indication that he was ever sent to school.
I love Stolas best of all and if anything bad happens to him I will quit....but Stryker has a point when he talks about the royals "talking over us." Even in text messages Stolas talks in paragraphs and epistles, and even with Stolas as a cute sweet (and frankly pushover) child, Blitz can still pick up on the sarcasm in "YOU'LL hire ME? I hope I qualify!" It's not even either of their faults. Stolas is huge big royalty and would probably need lessons to know when he is condescending, even when he doesn't mean it, and Blitz 1. Is still more into M&M, who don't want him and 2. Can't bring himself to believe that what Stolas feels for him is more than list (partially because Blitz himself started their relations-via-dirty-talk, Stolas just literally went along because no one had touched him since Via was born and what with Stella, and Stolas "just lying there starring at the wall" likely in a disassociative state, is probably only just now vaguely figuring out what sex is even supposed to resemble.
They both need a massive therapist

So, this episode gave us our first look at the Sloth ring. At least, I'm guessing that the hospital was in the Sloth ring. Too bad Norman couldn't come back and reprise his role as Striker. What was the deal with that nurse at the hospital? Maybe a hybrid between 2 races that produced an offspring with a bad phenotype?
If that vet was in the Sloth Ring, no wonder it takes five years to make an appointment. 😅

Last season you and I were talking about needing more of Stellas history before passing judgement, but I'm not sure there's anything that can save her at this point. That she didn't speak a word of defense of Via to her brother...
O think she os just dunb and lacks a moeal compas her brother seems be only brains in her family
She also seems kinda dumb too though. He had to spell out the whole inheritance thing, I'm not entirely sure she understands what he may be planning for Octavia.
@@ChibiJessykat Her brother seems to think she's dumb. She's definitely childish in her manners, but to be honest, her plan to have Stolas killed would've totally worked if Andrealphus hadn't talked her out of it. My guess is he's been treating her like an idiot for a long time and they both fall into these roles when they're together.
@@silverseer573 I mean, her plan to kill him was obviously going to work, if all she wanted to gain from his death was his death. I feel like she was making the assumption that she was getting more than that however. Her plan to kill him was sound, that doesn't mean she thought through what would happen after.
@@ChibiJessykat That's where had a different sense. She didn't react at all when it was pointed out everything of Stolas's would go to Octavia upon his death, so I honestly think she didn't care. Plus, she's right that he normally wouldn't leave her anything willingly... but we will see, I could be totally off-base with that.
I tell you, it's *jarring* seeing Loona this afraid and vulnerable.

Don't know why it is but I watch a lot of the Helluva Boss reactors and the audio on yours I can hear so many more background details than I can on other channels :) even more than I can usually hear on the original video as well. I love it.
