Just what I needed to hear right now. I am 29 and I have performed all my life trying to earn God's favour. And I was currently being tempted to go back to that place of performance. I don't know, but it is very difficult for me to just sit down, relax, and see the Lord as my friend. It looks like I'm so used to being Martha, that being Mary feels strange. God bless you for sharing this little piece that was expected to be edited out.

I can totally relate to this…but it’s definitely a process to step out of that “works” mentality and into actual relationship with Him. I hope I’m not overstepping any boundaries here, but what I have learned is that often the way we are with God, or the way we view Him, is how we see our actual earthly dad or how our current relationship is with them. But remember that our earthly dads have flaws and our heavenly Dad is perfect and will never disappoint us. God bless you, Emmanuel!

My parents separated and divorced when I was young. I struggled to believe my parents loved me. As an older man I still struggle with this. I also struggle with believing God could love me too. Please pray for me that I will experience God's love deep in my soul, that I would know His friendship joy and peace and that He would transform me.
Wow, what a profound set of insights. I've never heard Jack speak before, but I really appreciate how articulate and mature he is in his walk.
Thank you for sharing your testimony, it was painful But God turn it for good. I m deeply touch by knowing how great is the LOVE OF God and Our Lord Jesus Christ for us all. Even in the darkest of our life He is there and even how big sins we have committed and feel unworthy but God is always there for us and makes a way for us to come to Him.

Oh what a beautiful love story of a son and The Father God! Through all the pain and the sorrow of the lost of his own beautiful son, like OUR OWN FATHER! Our Father God knows all the things of our heart, for He knows and cares for Us! Sometimes is the hardest times He shows Himself to Us when we can’t see anything but the pain! He shows us that her Word is true ,” I Am with you, I will never leave you for I Am with you always.” He walks us through the deepest valley s , when we don’t know how to walk, He walks with us and shows us the True Love Of The FATHER! What An AMAZING FATHER DADDY we have! He loves us soooo much we just forgot how great HE really is! What a beautiful testimony of Our FATHER! He gave His Only Begotten Son to Come Here a Die for US, because HE Loved US ,through His Sons JESUS Death, we have LIFE! This make me cry, and made me remember THE FATHERS LOVE! Because in all our children’s lives we want only to give them the best we can give them, wanting our children to grow and be the best they can be! So if we want to give our earthy children the best for them, How Much MORE Does Our FATHER Want To Give US! My Dad’s dad committed suicide , and years & years later that suicidal spirit took my oldest brothers life... heart breaking.

I lost my identical twin in 2013. She was 44. We had horrifying parents and their legacy of pain just effected her too much. So thankful my parents are GONE now so I can finally work on healing. I'm healing for the both of us.
