Hey everyone! Appreciate you all taking the time to watch this video! I'll be streaming my FRESH journey at twitch.tv/brrevs starting November 21st, and I'd love it if you'd toss me a follow and stop by! Good luck out there and happy FRESH!
Going Druid, only class I’ve never really played in vanilla. Fun fact it was my first class ever but I switched to Paladin because one of my friends was a Druid and made it seem like we all had to play something different haha!
I went warlock in 2019 classic, and you know im gonna go warlock again in classic classic. It genuinely meant the world to me that the debuff limit was removed, cause now i get to click one more button during raid :D
you will not :D in season of mastery they removed it too but it was still better to spam shadowbolt bcs of all the crit that you get from worlds buffs.
Dude your channel is blowing up! I was considering making content for Classic Fresh and seeing smaller channels like yours get so much attention is really inspiring. Good video, I agreed with most of your choices especially my main class Druid sitting at the top =)
Tauren Druid. Tauren are by far my favorite Vanilla race. Once the change to TBC comes, then i will also rock a Draenei. I am sure i will have alts but these are what i am most looking forward to. I do love the Shaman class fantasy too.
The swap to ele at lvl 40 is a absolute game changer. Especially if you've saved gear to swap at that lvl too. Bum max water from every mage you see and BLAAAAAAAST to 60.
glad to see luv for the druid.. druid was so underrated when classic came back out. i had so much fun leveling as Heart of the Wild spec.. kept 2 sets of gear, and could do anything.. tank, heal, dps. truly the hybrid class experience
My buddy was druid in vanilla..so I tried it in 2019..easily my favorite to lvl and main in all of my wow time. However..I believe I am gonna grind out a priest this time.
Shaman chould be both S and F tier because of the totem class quests. The water totem quest is outstanding flavor but it takes soooooooooooo long it isn't worth doing for at least 8 levels after you unlock it >.>
It really doesn't take that long. People massively overexaggerate it. You travel to Hillsbrad, then Barrens, then Ashenvale, then Barrens, then Silverpine, then Barrens again. The whole thing can be done in an hour when you have no mount, or at 40+ with a mount it will be slightly faster.
Me, having played og classic leveling as a restoration shaman: I have seen things that you humans canno comprehend (fight one mob, almost die, run out of mana, drink, repeat)
@@riccardocibabene499 Shaman is a great choice but probably not resto for solo levelling, enhance and then ele at level 40ish when you can spec the whole tree is the most efficient way to level
I’ve never actually fully leveled any character. But only have played warlock and warrior for longer than a couple days. I’ve tried other classes but all on hardcore so of course being a noob if I made it to level 10 I was lucky. Definitely stuck on what I will play and honestly will just put every class into a random wheel picker and play… but if I were to take it serious, it would be warlock warrior or shaman. The only reason I’m shying from shaman is I’ve never healed in any mmo
Paladin as the worst leveling class is a joke, its at least B tier or most likely A. Buff yourself with blessing of wisdom, get first aid for healing and use money you would have to spend for a mount to buy weapons. With that you have no downtimes, you can spend all the mana on offensive skills, combined with max rank seal of command for judgement spam you kill realy fast. For min/max you can go engineering to use grenades for damage(judgement of command and stun synergy)or a third interrupt against heals. You are an unstoppable killing machine with tons of skills for every situation, its realy fun.
Priest leveling is way more boring than paladin. As a priest you just pull a mob with a dot and wand it down (wand = autoattak). Paladin is only boring in the beginning but at least you can play as a different role on the fly (it's possible to tank/heal/dps in dungeon with the same talents until lvl40). Then at lvl42 AEO leveling is very fun in my opinion because with each pull you can try to get to your limit as close as possible. With the free mount you also have more gold to spend on cool gear and enchants for leveling.
Shaman is S tier dude. Fast 1h/shield + flametongue to wep. Pull with lightning bolt, keep up flame shock*. You take almost no damage, you're never oom, you never have to sit still. It feels just like leveling as priest. Super quick and super easy.
Good video. Thx. If you got a friend to level with, an affliction warlock and a holy paladin are totally insane together. No downtime, just pull, pull, pull.
I know it's going to be a boring choice, but I'm thinking dwarf paladin. I don't mind healing and being party support. They're a very steady class to play with healing and big weapons. I've also been thinking about a human warlock instead. I usually play a mage, and this could be an interesting alternative.
The ones that are the most fun are just those that are the least boring, thus to determine what the most fun class is, we first need to identify what makes a class boring. In my opinion, these key factors make gameplay boring: 1. Slowness (poor kill speed, too much drinking and eating, bad mobility) 2. Simplicity (only using 5-6 main abilities throughout the leveling process, doesn't call for attentiveness) 3. Limited utility (limited to a single role in group activities, adding poor value to groups) 4. Poor resource management (mana depletes fast) 5. Gear dependency These 5 factors are enough for us to begin our analysis with. 1. Slowness Warrior: Slower due to melee combat and reliance on gear. Paladin: Similar to Warriors, but essentially slower. Hunter: Faster due to ranged attacks, pet tanking and Aspect of the Cheetah. Rogue: Faster due to stealth and decent burst damage, but can be slowed by cooldowns. Priest: Mid-range in terms of speed thanks to Spirit Tap and wands cutting down on drinking. Shaman: Mid-range due to mana intensity, but compensated by Ghost Wolf, Astral Recall and totems. Mage: Fastest due to AOE abilities, teleports and blink. Druid: Faster once feral forms are unlocked. Warlock: Faster due to voidwalker, Life Tap and Drain Life. 2. Simplicity Warrior: Complex. Paladin: Simple. Hunter: Fairly simple. Rogue: Fairly simple. Priest: Fairly simple. Shaman: Simple. Mage: Fairly complex. Druid: Fairly complex. Warlock: Fairly complex. 3. Limited Utility Warrior: Limited to tanking and DPS. Paladin: Limited to tanking and healing. Hunter: Limited to DPS. Rogue: Limited to melee DPS. Priest: Limited to healing, buffing and DPS. Shaman: Limited to healing, buffing and DPS. Mage: Limited to DPS and crowd control and conjuring. Druid: Limited to tanking, DPS, and healing. Warlock: Limited to DPS and secondary buffing. 4. Poor Resource Management Warrior: Minimal resource management, relies only on rage but loses a lot of health. Paladin: Minimal resource management, mostly auto-attacking with seals and saving mana for heals. Hunter: Moderate resource management, relies on ammo and pet management. Rogue: Minimal resource management, relies only on energy and can escape to eat/bandage in most situations. Priest: Moderate resource management, relies on mana for healing. Shaman: High resource management, relies on mana and totems. Mage: High resource management, relies on mana for spells. Druid: Moderate resource management, relies on mana for spells and energy for melee. Warlock: High resource management, relies on mana and soul shards. 5. Gear Dependency Warrior: Very high. Paladin: High. Hunter: Very low. Rogue: Moderate. Priest: Moderate. Shaman: Moderate. Mage: Moderate. Druid: Moderate. Warlock: Low. Based on this analysis, we can quite confidently say Druids and Mages are the most fun classes to level. As a Druid you can fill any role, you're both highly mobile and you barely ever have to spend time resting and they're a fairly complex class to truly master thanks to their myriad forms, spells and abilities. As a Mage, you have free reign over Azeroth and provide very high group utility, damage and can challenge yourself with big AOE pulls.
@@Noodlyappendage I think it means that it speeds you up as it allows you to stealth past unnecessary mobs in tight spaces. Speed here is referred to as an all-encompassing term covering downtime, experience per hour and general mobility. Stealth, with that in mind, does speed your process up quite significantly.

I’ve been thinking of what to do, but to be honest I’ll probably just go with a hunter. Hunters are so chill to level with, no other class compares in my opinion (even druid, and mage has to drink a lot).
I'm playing with a buddy who is relatively new, he is running mage and I'm sure running warr or priest. I am leaning towards priest so I can heal an aoe mage group if he gets into them lol
i am currently lvl 54 on wow hardcore defias pillager, gnome mage. i have no idea what to choose for fresh because I am so close to 60 on HC and don't just want to do it all over again with mage (althought its my favorite class) but i miss PVP and want to do fresh soft core so i can pvp, might do shaman but ive never done horde before.
I feel if 4 out of 9 classes are in S tier, there is something wrong with the list. S Tier is to be supposed to mean almost overpowered to the rest, and 4/9 can't be overpowered. Probably should shift all classes except mages and hunters down one full tier. Otherwise, I roughly agree with the ranking.
So if you are choosing a class known to be slow/unfun to solo quest to level, don't. Do dungeons. It's a lot less boring and a group can shore up the deficiencies of the individual.

Druids overall get in less "oh shit" situations however have only very limited tools to get out of them whereas mages get into all kinds of troubles on a regular but have a million "oh shit" buttons at their disposal
Hard disagree on two things. Pally is ridiculously good, and very fast after 40. And warrior, around level 18, as long as you have a group to get some dungeon weapons every level bracket, or gold to AH them, just going dual wield even as early as 18, you absolutely steamroll everything.
Yes, i love to dual wield on my warrior at lvl 18, i also love when my rogue can finally equip 2hand axes at lvl 33 and when my mage can equip plate helmets at lvl 12.
Ahhh you’re doing shaman leveling wrong 🥲 (imo of course) never go 2h. 2h sucks 😮💨 dagger/shield enhancement is way more efficient- with some points into ele. Mobs die just as fast as 2h, due to almost no misses, and you never gotta stop to drink cause you just FS, lightning shield, and go to town 👍🏼 Additionally, I feel retribution paladin leveling is wrong too 😂 I do the same thing with paladin that I do with shaman: sword/board, stacking Stam/int and leveling consecration into prot. Can tank, heal, solo anything - very efficient with only a short decrease in kill time. Much better imo

Calculations:
Mage: (1 + 2 + 4 + 7 + 5) / 5 = 3.80

Shaman: (6 + 8 + 2 + 8 + 6) / 5 = 6.00
Priest: (7 + 7 + 3 + 5 + 4) / 5 = 5.20
Warrior: (8 + 1 + 6 + 1 + 9) / 5 = 5.00

Priest is the worsted class for levelling, in my opinion, specially at the lvl 20. It’s start to get better at lvl 40 with the shadow spec
Rogues 1-10 is for sure one of the easiest and fastest
you can do in a couple of hrs just from human zones easily
F blizzard boys check out turtle wow 🐢🐢🗡️🆒
Please please get a pop filter i can hear all of your T's and P's uugh my ears.
Ahhh you’re doing shaman leveling wrong 🥲 (imo of course) never go 2h. 2h sucks 😮💨 dagger/shield enhancement is way more efficient- with some points into ele. Mobs die just as fast as 2h, due to almost no misses, and you never gotta stop to drink cause you just FS, lightning shield, and go to town 👍🏼
Additionally, I feel retribution paladin leveling is wrong too 😂 I do the same thing with paladin that I do with shaman: sword/board, stacking Stam/int and leveling consecration into prot. Can tank, heal, solo anything - very efficient with only a short decrease in kill time. Much better imo
