Hey flugel I got a question how did the witch of lust take the form of rem. the witch was supposed to be dead right and she should be at the tea party right?
Echidna can shape shift the place you know as "Tea Party" (it's called Castle of Dreams), so basically she altered the Garden we're used to see to make it look like the tomb of the sanctuary. In the castle of dreams all the souls of the witches rest and can take a physical form, so Echidna sent Carmilla in order to help Subaru. Carmilla's authority allows her to make people "see" what their heart wants to see, and at the time of vulnerability Subaru wanted to rely on none other than Rem, so Carmilla took her form but failed on the acting and got caught xD
When Subaru uses the handkerchief to unalive himself from Satella's shadows, does he go back in time before he told Echidna about return by death? Or does Echidna still know about it?
@@rexes92 Echidna knew about RBD way before that. She looked into his memories to create the first trial, and that's why she was so interested in him. A short about this should be released today on my channel hehe
@@Flugel_Anime Is that why she gave him the handkerchief-turned-knife, knowing that he would be stuck in the shadows forever by Satella if he didnt unalive with the cloth?
@@maximizerboy it's on the manga on the exact same scene (chapter 3 of daisanshou/truth of zero) and in the original source (novels). It's important information cut from the anime that I tried to clarify, because it will be important for future arcs. It's not a spoiler, just an anime fault and it's not new for the fans
@@Flugel_Anime Yeah, I can see that, but if the information is really that important, then maybe they were planning to refer to it in the future? It's like Hunter X Hunter's chapter 0 where the encounter between Gon and Kite was important, yet was only shown way later in the anime. Felt like I ruined White Fox's future plans in revealing that guy's identity. What a damn shame...
@@maximizerboy You don't have to dig deep into the community to find that out when you are into the series, I felt like most already know it, and a reveal in season 3 is just way too out of place considering Subaru already knows there's people other than him in that world. Subtle detail but you can see Japanese Manuscript in the flugel tree in season 1. And it was not addressed on the first episode of season 3 according to the ones who saw its broadcast on anime expo. At most, White fox will make a flashback to season 1 or not address it at all
@@maximizerboy Oh, and I just fact checked that HxH thing, I didn't know about it, but that spin off was released even after the anime ended in 2013, so it wouldn't be a spoiler either
Historically I understand your point of view, as it does not represent middle ages, but in fantasy literacy it is a medieval world, just like a lot of other media portray them. It's the easiest way for people to be introduced to that world, as we can easily differentiate the "medieval" and "modern" in fiction. It's just a therm at the end!

Re Zero is not a medieval world. Historical terminology has lost all meaning these days.
Yeah it isn't but it's heavily inspired by it.
