Seldom in history is the First Lady as revered as the President, but in this case Jackie was just as popular as President Kennedy. It's too bad the magic couldn't have lasted longer than 3 years, but rarely does anything that wonderful.

This is the most interesting recording I've ever heard. You can hear the children in the background. In one part she tells them to get out. One of the children asks why. I'm glad I listened to the recording in her own voice.

yeah im a guy and shes not like hot or sexy really, but shes what you would want your wife or mother to be. someone you would want to have you children or grow older with.
It'll be a while before we have some one as classy as her in the WH again. I hope Mrs. Obama grows into the role of first lady well I think that capacity is there for her.
jackie brought the white house into the 20th century while at the same time ensuring items of historical significance be provided as well. yes, she did empty the decorating budget (small i assure you) she was able to find outside funding (donated) for the cause. my parents said she restored the peoples pride in the white house. she used fashion and sense of style as a diplomatic tool in order to help her husband and the u.s. gain and maintain strength in the world. ure clueless about her.
