E20 | The Big Lap of WA - Red Bluff & Point Quobba Blow Holes Camp
Вставка
- Опубліковано 3 гру 2020
- This week we head out of Ningaloo Station, and through Canarvon to Quobba Station. We spend a windy couple of days at Red Bluff (a Mecca for surfers and fisherman!) before moving on to Point Quobba Blow Holes campground where Cam gets onto a good fish!
Next week we are check out another couple of great stations - Wooramel and Hamelin, where we soak in artesian hot springs and explore paddocks full of interesting farm relics and cars!
Cheers!

The wind noise doesn’t bother me Cam. It’s just like being there with ya. Love watching your adventures
I can only imagine the inconvenience of videoing and the time editing it all. But to your credit each time I watch an episode they seem way to short, they are that interesting and well constructed. Please keep up the good work.
Oh Lordy..🤦🏼♀️your cooking this video was very much a Russell Coight moment!😂
Very funny episode😂
I like the calm and collected approach to your videos and choice of locations....well done!
yep Russ fitted right in there, more great content thanks again for taking us all on your journey, have to say I will be sad when you end it
Cam Coight, nearly pissed meself. Love the Mickey take mate.
No difference, weather in Stralia or Merica its great to see the family out in the country enjoying and making family memories
The moist bit cracked me up . Spat my food out 😂😂
Love that you had 2 cans at the end of the vid of the chooks 👌 love the videos guys.
Loving your videos guys, we are planning a trip as well & you are our new favourite family to view 😁 keep up the great work!
Awesome vid, love the drone footage! I did something similar a couple of months ago. Its my favourite bit of footage Ive ever captured. That coastline is unreal. Love your vids team!
Excellent again I think you could talk Tiff into a bait dropper for the drone to catch a big one
Thinking about it 😂
Great video, total crack up, and beautiful footage, thanks guys 💙😂🤣👏
Great video again guys thanks.
It would be a real bonus having a little one who sleeps well in a confined space.
I wouldn't worry too much if an inadvertent shot slips by mate, we are all gentlemen here and will close our eyes.
Take care.
Yep. Loving the cooking show. Brilliant. Also Russell Coight moment, priceless.
Fantastic episode mate! I love how you show everything, even your mistakes. We all make them. But making do with what you got is gold! Well done guys you all rock....especially Chloe!
Loving the scenery. Love the new slime bomb affect at the end for the subscribe button 😉
Great vid guys keep enjoying..... Yr travels.... Ohhhh. Nice catch.....
Thanks again guys, look forward to your show each week, keeping it real at all times👍 so much fun 😂 🎣
Good to see the shacks are still at Quobba. We heard that Carnarvon Shire were planning to demolish them. They have been giving the shack owners a hard time for years. Nice chopper tailor, took us a while to work out that they are good eating if cooked fresh :)
Great video again 👍👍👍funny shower bit 😂😂😂
Hi Cam. Can't believe it mate. You guys parked at the exact spot where Paula and I parked for three nights August 2018. Just loved the snorkelling at Quabba. Looks like a squatter camp, but we had the best stay there. Will definitely stop over again when we attempt our lap. I'll pm you a photo of our stay. Cheers. Herman.
It's a great spot! Fishing was pretty good, hooked another two tailor about the same size but didn't land them. The snorkelling looked great at the aquarium but it was too windy, we'll have to go back too 😂
We have grown to love your videos thank you I know it takes a lot of work. Photography is great and all if you are so natural.
Of
You cracked me up twice champ.. 1st by not letting the lack of basic ingredients stop you then 2nd the coight moment..
Lovin it
Absolutely Stunning as always!!. It's like I'm on holiday too, just by watching these. And yours and Tiff's, and Chloe's Cooking/Baking is absolutely superb!!.
😍tiff can you see me ☺ but towards the end ov the shower interview she was a professional 😂😂 camms big fish and dessert wows fantastic 👍 and little Chloe is such a happy little camper
Very nice, Tnx for taking us along. The moment you said I’m going to leave this in the oven and go fishing I thought it is going to burn (unless the Mrs was keeping an eye on it) and when you said: windy I never catch anything I thought I bet he is coming back with a big one:-)) Amazing !!! Stay safe n healthy.
Mate your a great Dad
I don't know if you remember but I suggested a blooper reel some time ago... This was pretty darn close ! Really enjoyed this episode, great scenery and bloopers as well. Thanks folks - Peter V.
Another awesome vid. Love it. Great interview in the shower, Tiff! Very well handled both interviewee and cameraperson! Cooking with Cam started out really well, improvised ingredients that still came together until the fishing turned the cooking into a Coight classic. Great catch, and good salvage, it was prolly a more appropriate size anyway post the fishing distraction.
I have to admit that I was disappointed that Krunchilli did not make an appearance....having said that I did order more than a few jars of it, thanks to you guys, and now I have a new addiction. Krunchilli is just amazing!!! (ps had it for breakfast this morning atop grilled haloumi cheese and sliced tomato on toast while watching todays episode)
Ah the ningaloo road!! Yes over the years I've seen many a broken vehicle and trailer on that one..this year would be the first for a dump station also much better than every camp-site burying it nearby
Another fabulous vid makes my Saturday morning thanks guys
Can we see tiff cook because cam always does it.love the channel
Cheers for the videos guys, planning on a trip like yourselfs so the videos come in handy for tips and places to see along the way.
No boozems dont worry 😅
Hope you are all having great time, i am loving this series. Nice fish too cam!
Great work guys
Thanks again and love the tune playing at 13.00.
Thanks for sharing! I used to camp at Red Bluff quite a bit in 1999 such a great coastline!
Safe travels you three, as always watching from melbourne and enjoying, DG
Lol great episode love the blow hole and enjoy the honesty of the reviews
Nice fish Cam. Great episode as always.
Great Job Guys. Well Done.
Yay fishing, caramel slice and caravan parks. Love ya vids...
Another great video thanks guys. Really want to get over to WA one day. P.S. When you get a van with no pop top you will really notice a big difference in those really windy exposed spots. They are much more comfortable in bad weather and have lots of overhead storage
My weekly Saturday dose!😎you guys will have the biggest holiday come down coming back to the concrete jungle😥I hope you have your next trip planned already!!!
Easy fix to stop cans from rubbing & splitting, rubber band around the top and bottom of every 2nd can, did many trips through the NT and never lost a can
I wrap mine in gladwrap
So, now we have seen tif and cam in the shower. I also have to agree, a seperate shower and toilet would be better. Another fine video cam and tiff!
“We don’t use full sized towels” TOWEL IS BIGGER THEN TIFF!
Awesome vid again guys was pissing myself laughing at the blow hole
love the video keep up the work
Great episode mate. 🤙🏾🤙🏾
Just started watching your channel, you guys are awesome 👍🍺
I heard the road into Ningaloo stn was shocking
Apparently it’s quicker to double the distance and go Exmouth yardi creek and enter from the north
That’s a horse of a tailer I’d burn the slice if I was catching monsters like that
Well done great family content
Would love to see some out takes would be funny at the end of the episode
Funny vid Cam n Tiff
Enjoyed this one, not that I haven’t enjoyed all the others !
We like watching ya cooking and the fish must have been a nice surprise.... with the pop top up in windy conditions is it noisy, wind noise I mean
I have had no issues with your sound .. best fish catch ever pity didn’t film it :)
It is so relaxing to see you overlanding. Have you trayed geocaching? We are on holiday is South African Jeffries bay area. This area has 100's. Just go to cell phone play store and down load the app.
Hi cam and tiff love the videos lots of ideas for when we come over your way
Mate I’ve got the same canopy cracking in the same spots and am thinking of getting a steel canopy for the ranger
In reguards to your fridge do you think if you put it inside an insulated box it would help thinking of getting one myself
Thanks for all the tips and videos it’s helping us plan our western getaway enjoy the rest of your trip
From caramel slices to Caramel Station...wait, did I miss something? Yet again another great video, great coverage. What brand of bullbar is it? It looks like when mounting lights a substantial piece of reinforcing steel plate under the bolt will help.
Love the clip at 6:54
You can fill up containers/jerries for free at the coral bay caravan park but yeah the bulk water for caravan is payable
To much movement in the van, to much info mate did anybody come knocking 😂👍 keep up the good work guys.
Based on that familiar reaction and those stock wrastlin’ skills on display I’d say that Tailor is of the rarely encountered “Episode 13, 1800 Lake Ellendale Hamburger” genus
The Coight reference was hilarious but you made up for it with ya giant Dundee knife....good fish none the less....Poor Tiff in the shower, talk about a marriage testing moment....We know Cam is a gentleman tho so all is well.
defiantly better having a separate toilet and shower. although you probably will have more room to move in the shower in your current van. Priorities I guess. But you have a long life for upgrades
Nice fish mate! I know ya just did a Q and A but where do you keep ya fishing rod and what kinda tackle u running ? Another great video guys
after that shower scene, are you sure it was the wind rocking the van... :)...... too much info.. hahaha.
Did you check out 3 mile camp narloo that's awesome there and there's a ship wreck up there called Korean star well there was 30 years ago when I went.
Wedge Island is my favorate, my mates past mates built a shack up there 30 years ago I think they might still be there I caught up with them 10 years ago, it's a shame can't camp there any more.
You should check out lucky Bay 30 k south Kalbarri that's a awesome spot too.
Cam the snack man haha
Shame about the wind mate because it did look beautiful there!!
Cracking fish mate....and if you needed an excuse to burn the caramel thats a good one!!
Wayiba, can you please put a stopper chord on your straps to keep your hats out of Lil girls face lol. Lil one needs space too 😊
Haha I started wiping my screen just before you did! Also how many litres of beer does Cam drink a day? Probably why you don’t use so much water.
:-)
Hi guys, If you were to purchase the mdc again, would you get the pop top again or high roof model?
We would definitely get another pop top if that was an option!
Cam great to follow your trips we enjoy it. Where did you get the map of Australia?
Thanks mate. The laminated is a Hema map, they've got an online store that sells it. I think I got it from a newsagent years ago.
@@WildTouring cam thank you, we are off this year. Might see you around.
M8, can't find the vid where you mentioned how you connected the caravan safety chains to the tow bar. What are they called and where do you purchase from? Many thanks
They are cleavis hooks, just from eBay
@@WildTouring what size are they? thanks again
Stayed at the blow holes on my way to Exmouth on my big trip in 2017. Was the old bloke and his imported wife there to collect the fees for the blow hole camp? They were horrible, 4 nights mate and i and kelpie stayed there, he smelt like a brewery, she said mate paid correct amount and refused to give change, which he didnt, he paid more in cash, then he started getting narky. We almost packed up and drove out at 10 pm. Having said that, they never came back to see us and we had a good camp there and i got some awesome footage of the blow hole etc.
Wow glad we didn’t bump in to them 🤭
🤣🤣 MOIIIISSST ...🤦♂️🤦♂️
Great episode again. Just realised after all this time ( intuned to much) you don't have commercials, is that your decision? I'd be happy to watch commercials if it helps you guys.
Only at the start of the clip we do 😊
hi guys love the show is the cel fi go worth the money
Personally we don’t really think so. We can count on one hand the number of times it has come in handy.
Lots of sand
Coral bay was a rip of in 2010
Always was always will be !
Loving your vids. Been following you for awhile. All your WA adventures are bring back some great family memories.
As for the little things you wish your van had, check out 'Stoney Creek - Scout 15'. We just sold our camper trailer in August and brought a 'Scout 15', couldn't be happier. Has a little kitchen inside and the shower & toilet are separate. Few other things it has over the other brands too. Worth having a look.
Come join our group we need WA members , cheers
Ooops and you to MUM :)
Need to see cam in the shower get his gear off for the show 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Where do i send my adoption papers ?
