Thanks mate. Ended up exceeding expectations as I was already very impressed to begin with. Definitely has an allure to it.. Patiently awaiting your beetle come back run ✌️
I've got both kit's just one problem, I don't want to destroy the packaging so it makes it hard to decide whether to build it or not! Just one thing on your build, it looks like the drivers wearing a plastic fire suit I take and before removing the over spray film I score it around the drivers suit arms etc.. then remove that area and spray it with mat. clear works great no shiny suit! GREAT build very beautiful!! Ralphie
Very nice 👍i have built both the Legendaryseries Beetle and Scorpion and they are a treat to build. The Turbo Scorpion will be added to the rc garage soon. Thank you for sharing👌subbed aswell 👍
They really are. It’s a bitter sorrow when the build is all compete. Now I understand why people have multiple. Thanks for the sub and comment mate. And of course for watching. Super appreciated 🙏🤟✌️
Built mine exactly to manual and mine has front wheel toe out, wheels flare outward a bit. Is that normal? I tried adjusting the steering knuckle more into the front bar to get front wheels more parallel but don't know if that's what I should be doing. Coming from 80's Tamiya, I remember all my cars had toe in front wheels to help control straight driving. Beautiful build btw! Love the paint
Thanks mate! Appreciated. Paint turned out awesome. Yes, it’s normal as the manual was a bit aggressive with the tie rod & steering rod lengths. Great for turn in but as you mentioned straight line will suffer. Just lengthen the steering rod length until you get the desired toe you’re looking for. Thanks for watching and the comment 👍
Hi, it’s a vintage aluminum one I purchased online. There’s a couple sellers you can find on eBay that sell remakes or vintage style ones. If you search for scorpion or tomahawk they will come up. Yes, I like them as well. Will add a little weight but worth it imo. Thanks for watching 👍
That silver paint with the flakes is gorgeous!
Much appreciated. It was a fun paint job. Thanks for watching 🙏
looks awesome mate. it’s one of my fave rc cars.

Thanks for the advice mate. I’m going to try that out as I hate the shinny/ plastic fire suit look lol. Thanks for the comment and watching 👍

It’s possible I just missed it but what motor cage did you use? I’d like silver, chrome, or aluminum for mine too
