  • A common complaint is low visibility when backing up in a Jeep JL because the factory reverse lights (even with LED tail lights) do not produce enough light for the backup camera to work well in the dark.
    Replace the factory bumper reflectors with high-output replacement auxiliary LED reverse lights from ORACLE Lighting. These durable lights feature an aluminum housing with a PMMA lens, and these compact lights pack a big punch with a total of 22 high-powered LEDs to improve your Jeep JL bumper reverse lights.

    Great idea! I been looking for something similar... if you make these with an optional red or yellow reflector, plus a wiring harness that overrides the need for tapping into factory wiring and you got yourself an excellent product!

    Easier to take muffler off, then use an extension to get to the screw on the reflector. Also I needed to file the driver side light a little to get it to fit. They are great.

    Great install instructions. I just ordered a set from Quadratec a few minutes ago. Was hoping for a solution like this as I missed my flush Mount rear lights I put on my JK.

    I've read alot of reviews saying that these get moisture inside quite frequently.... ??
    Users loved the lights up until they got moisture inside & some as quickly as just a few weeks after installation...
    Is that resolved ??

      We have only seen issues in very small cases, we have sold over 1000 sets with a total of 8 reported moisture issues. Any moisture issue is replaced immediately for the customer.

      @@ORACLElights Glad to hear this problem is very limited. I had ordered these lights and then read the reviews on Quadratec and was about to cancel my order. Do you know where the moisture in coming into the lights? These lights look great and appear to be installed at the factory.

      @@HappyTrailsToYou we narrowed it down to certain types of high pressure car washes. We already made adjustments in production to counter this issue.

    I watched a video where the driver side Oracle light needed to be trimmed down in order to fit in a factory Rubicon steel bumper. Uhhh, no thanks. Is that the case for a regular Wrangler rear bumper?

    • @ORACLElights
      @ORACLElights  3 роки тому +1

      No, these drop right in to the plastic bumper. Only an issue on some steel bumpers.

      I just filed the light a little to get it to fit in my steel bumper. Also it was easier to take off the muffler to get to the bolt holding the reflector on.

      Do you have the tow package? It may be easier to connect to the trailer wiring in this case.

    • @ORACLElights

      @@NoBody-ij9dj Its simple but if you have no wiring experience it can be confusing. Basically you have wires for your Aux switches (check the owners manual for picture of their location and additional info). You take the red wires from our lights connect them together into 1 wire (common 16-20 gauge wire) and connector that to the aux switch wire. The Black wires coming from our lights you just ground to the bumper. Hope that helps!

    You guys show the Jeep with LED taillights, but then when it comes time to show you to tap, you use a NON LED TAILLIGHT! this is so frustrating! I have been stuck on this last step with no help on any instructions or forums, everything is just for the non-LED tailight. IT LOOKS DIFFERENT. FUCKING FRUSTRATED AS HELL

    • @ORACLElights
      @ORACLElights  2 роки тому

      Hello, the colors are the same (Purple and Orange) regardless if you have the factory LED or non LED tail lights. Not sure why there is an assumption that they would be different but the instructions provided work for both types of factory lights.
