You should get all the bushings to replace the rubber with aluminum both on the shifter plate and the linkages on top of the transmission itself. It will further tighten up the shift.
An English guy had a video on a manzo one of these. I got it and it was completely different...it's like throwing punches to a flick of the wrist. I'm gonna get the cup holder arm rest...with this I bet it's insanely comfortable.
one of the most important mods that ! just need a mugen gear knob or a mugen style short throw gear stick and it will look the part 👍

I think it does shorten the shift but it also takes up a lot of slack in the cable which is why i put one in with the bushes aswell big thumbs up

would the locking nut not work/look better underneath the gromet so it holds the silver ring upto the knob

How did you remove the ball?
KrankyHitman with a spanner mate, can’t remember which size it was but I put the jaws around the ball and pried it off, pops of nicely!

It will. Been preaching these for years. My shifter cable must have been loose. Put this on stopped missing 2nd. I love them..no more throwing punches when you shift.
How does the short shifter feel after some time? Is it worth buying?
