- Tour of our new distribution centre in Belgium. As we have grown it's become more and more apparent how important the back end of the business is to ensure that the front of our business can keep growing at such a fast rate. I feel that the back end of businesses isn't well documented enough so hopefully you can take something from this video and apply it to the work you're doing on your business today!

Video idea - Work with areas within the business (advertising, marketing, IT, sales, product team) and create an almost “day in the life” style of video (Very much like this video) where you both show what the team does and from an inside prospective what it’s like to work in that department of gymshark. (Feel like this would also be a great addition to your job adverts. As a newer member into the world of work (2 years full time now) I found whenever applying for a job the description never truly showed what the job was about and this I feel greatly discourages a lot of people in the sense they feel as if they don’t know what it’s about which means they can’t do it. Showing in video format what a rough day to day role is like attracts, excites and educates any person more about the job role that any paragraph and bullet points can.)
This would be cool, like a fly on the wall type format, similar to what Kahn Design are doing on UA-cam but focused on each department. Good suggestion!

I’d like to ask the workflow system of your merchandising in Fashion, Our frontend already good and the backend of fulfillment, website, customer service, finance already in the good position.
But I don’t really have skill in merchandising, only good at the marketing (funnel email,fb&ig ads,etc) so we have a bottle neck in merchandising.
It’s so hard to scale the merchandising & find a great supplier (we only have 1 at the moment, but it is only local with 60 people in production) and our production can’t keep up with the demand.
We had looking for another 3-4 suppliers, but there’s always an error (like the size chart have an error of 3-4cm which is reject, or the details thing that supplier forget to put)
I believe you have this problem also when you’re scaling from $1m to $5m.

I decided to click on your channel to see the latest progress with the business. The last video I watched was when you first moved into your big warehouse from F1-F4. Then I saw how I run a 300 million pound business.. Well shit. You did good.
Hey Ben, can you please discuss global sku management and on time manufacturing. Things like software, systems and techniques. I’m increasing my products from 5 SKUs to 50 SKUs in the next 8 months need to make sure the right systems are in place globally for each of our warehouses.
Give me that warehouse, I can manage it to fulfill 100K orders per day with same workers you have now. Usually, a man should fulfill 800-1000 orders per day in my warehouse.
Really appreciate such sneak peak into the backend of the business. Wonder whether investors got involved in the outsourcing decision-making too. Also the growth hacks whenever daily/weekly numbers went down?

I do not know if you have had any clothing experience before, but without it it seems next to impossible to make it by yourself.

There might be a video on this already, but how did you get from square one to where you are now in terms of shipping? You used to do it all yourself, so when did you realize you needed to hire someone to help, or when did you realize that you needed a warehouse?
Basically, what was the first obstacle you faced when it came to shipping, and how did you overcome it?
Now I get why their clothes are so expensive, they barely do something, they need to pay a lot for shipping company and to the manufacture to do the whole work.
It is impressive, but i have to say that in normal to Portugal you take from 12 to 15 days to deliver a order. :(
