- Aldebaran (Alpha Tauri) is the brightest star in the constellation Taurus and one of the brightest stars in the nighttime sky. The name Aldebaran is derived from Arabic signifying "the follower", as it appears to follow the Pleiades, Seven Sisters in the sky. Because of its location in the head of Taurus, it's often called the Bull's Eye. If one follows the three stars of Orion's belt from left to right (in the Northern Hemisphere) or right to left (in the Southern), the first bright star found by continuing that line is Aldebaran.

The way how Enya has described this song in the past and the lyrics, it brings to mind the general narrative of some sci-fi stories of long space travels from Earth to distant worlds, with the passengers in cryosleep, and some of her other songs compliment this concept, the Forge of the Angels being one to refer to those great starships, and the Loxian Gates, huge structures that either serve as sentries to those distant colony worlds, or means of achieving hyperspace jumps.

This Video (from capital letter!) is ideal to feel the absolute transparency, eternity and perfection of the Universe - absolutely flawless chioice to put this together with Enya's masterpiece. Aldebaran is one of the Gems in her collection, as real gem it maybe did not show up in top charts - while this is one of those coming from the bottom of the heart. I am confident - listening and seeing this compilation already made quite a lot people be happy again and start to remember the real meaning of our troubled life - in a way this reminds of time when we were kids and our dreams and thoughts were still fresh and full of true emotions and all the World was amazing... Who knows - maybe in 100-200 years from now on this song will be still hymn of life which is leading next generations to stars and new frontiers?
