Loving Triaz so far, looking forward to seeing what you keep doing with it! Would love to see a trigger group setting where you could group a selection of notes, say a tom fill, and adjust the chance that the whole fill plays as apposed to the individual notes. Or a trigger dependency where you can set certain notes to only trigger if another 'master' note is being triggered in the sequencer.
Thank you! Wait until you see the new (first) expansion we are dropping in a couple of weeks. 13,000 new drums, hundreds of new presets, a year in the making :)
Cool workflow: Add Symbolic links in the user folder of Triaz, so you don´t have to physically copy your samples there. Added over 1 million samples that way with no exta cost of disc space. Try it.
Every update is packed with so many much appreciated improvements!! Wish more companies operated like this!! Great value and worth the investment. So glad i found you guys. Thank you
Fantastic update as usual. - One thing I would like to see in the next update is the ability to choose the EQ modules on both the channel FX tab and the master FX. I find the the channel FX EQ a little to 'broad stroke' for carving or boosting frequencies on an individual drum channel but would seem very great for overall tone shaping on the master channel. Adding an analyzer and always showing the curve on the channel EQ would be a nice addition too. Keep up the great work guys. Thanks.
I’ve never seen a drum plugin or instrument like this Triaz, keep up the good, I’m impressed, I’m so glad that I bought this, I’ll make it my go to for all of my projects, no more drum designer in Logic, this will make my Logic experience greater. Thanks 🙏 you guys are the best
'if you have any features for a future update, please post them below, we read them all and take them seriously' convinced me to buy this plugin! Im excited to get started next week after my holiday. 1 request would be to do more genre-based tutorials besides the feature video(s). For instance how Would a techno producer use this plugin to come to a certain result. What would his workflow be,... More of a tutorial where someone creates a (part of) a track using the plugin.
All these added features are super-cool! My favourite is creating new bank in randomizing, but also negative starts make programming a slow hip-hop easy with snare or claps flams. Since you ask feature requests here, I would like to be able to introduce steps longer than 1, there is no tie function here currently in the pattern sequencer. When I trigger a long sample in one step I will hear it as long as it lasts - I have the envelope decay to trim, but entering a long step that sounds as long as the step lasts would be a more natural behaviour for the foleys. I would also enjoy having the repeat play on more steps: programming 5 repeats in 2 steps, or 7 repeats in 3 steps would be very interesting occasionally. Tie!
Just WOW! Thank you! In the Sounds tab, please add the ability to randomize 3 samples at once. And in the Sequencer, next to each sound, it would be nice to see a measurement scale. This is necessary in order to make it more convenient to see what sound is currently playing, rather than guessing and searching. Thanks again!
@@ZTEKNO_Loops You are welcome! Check this section of the following video to learn more about randomizing samples and entire kits: ua-cam.com/video/Ra9vybi30VA/v-deo.htmlsi=a-1qBXvClachJHAP&t=802
Absolutely great plugin but..is there an option to nudge steps (left or right) within a single lane in the sequencer? I find this feature very useful in creating variations..thanks
Hi! On the sequencer page you can move individual steps on any lane forward or back in time by using the 'Start' sequencer page. Alternatively, you can push entire lanes back in time by using the sample 'Start' knob on the Sound page and turning that to the left. I hope this helps :)
Great update, thanks WA! The feature I've most wanted from the start is that when I'm randomising a parameter for a particular drum (say, the pitch), I'd like to be able to set the range for the randomisation. Hopefully that makes sense!
You can do this already, if I understand you correctly. Next to the 'Slop' control on the Sound page there is a small downward arrow. Clicking that will let you set the depth of each of the slop effects - pitch, filter, random start time etc. if you mean the small dice icon at the left of each sequencer lane on the Pitch / Start sequencer etc, we will see what we can do in a future update :)
@@wave-alchemy Yes I meant in the sequencer when I click the small dice to randomise a particular parameter across the lane - I ALWAYS seem to want to do this. Thanks!
That is such a strong update! And we’re only up to v1.1. Amazing. I hope you’re selling a shit ton of copies. This is the best drum sequencer out there.
Fantastic update once again, keep on making it the best drum plugin 🔥 About phase, it would be great to be able to change it by degrees instead of just flipping it, which can prove not a solution in some cases.
Def considering buying this. I still use a combination of an MPC and another drum controller ( ATOM ) within my DAW. I do love using the ‘Note Repeat’ button when making beats. Sadly, I don’t see this function included on many software drum instruments. Instead were forced to draw in drum trills and rolls. Are you intending to include this type of feature in future ?
Hi, There is a repeat feature in Triaz. It has a whole sequencer page dedicated to adding note repeats to any step of any the 12 sequencer lanes. You can choose to repeat each note between 1 and 9 times, per step :)
Thought about the RND features: there could be 2 methods of give RND to the sections 1. via rolling the dice (or meta dice for the whole page let´s say: movement) or via pop up menu 8like the SLOP menu. There you can set all % of RND for the different sections (for example 10% movement (the whole section and or a way to exclude stuff by locking etc.). Kind of like the menu of Korg Modwave together with you cool workflow.
Yes, you can use the new 'Sample Delay' to delay entire patterns, is the new reverse sequence option to reverse sequencer lanes in two different ways, or use the 'Start' sequencer if you want to get deeper with timing edits by pulling certain drums forward or back
@@wave-alchemy Thanks for the reply but I mean, if say you like a pattern but it begins in an odd part of the bar eg. 3rd beat 4 16th notes in , is there a way to shift the whole pattern so it begins at beat 1 ?
Thank you for the update and your attention to details. I was missing the sample delay and phase flip in the initial release so good to see it. Nothing beats Triaz in terms of workflow. Now bring on the sound sets, and I´d personally like to see percussions presets to supplement beats and more hybrid acoustic/electronic kits. No rock style?
Thank you for your support and nice words. Yes, we are working on several very compelling expansion packs as we speak. The first being named 'Drift' will be out in just a few short weeks. We do have a percussion specific one in the works too 👍
Yes, changing individual sequencer lane rates to 1/6, 1/12 etc will let you input triplets. Or you could simply export the full pattern as MIDI and add them via your DAW sequencer if you prefer.
Killer tool + killer update, well done guys! For a future update I would like to be able to have different FX options for each channel, I find just having one delay effect for the whole kit quite limiting.
Let's see what the future holds! The only reason we haven't added even more effects at this stage is simply due to us wanting to keep CPU reasonable :)
Hi! Bought it. Very OP Machine. Pls add RANDOM Dice for all sections like Repeat and Change, i mean dices that change the ALL tracks at once (all changes in all tracks). Also let "Randomnize Pattern" change all parameter pages (maybe only marked/checked pages/tracks will cahnge). thank you!
@@wave-alchemy Thank you for the support! Nice. Looking forward to the future of that one of a kind Machine. AND Triaz is perfect if you add stuff like Zynaptic Pitchmap after it. So the whole beat is in key, especially if you feed custom folders. Maybe some tool like that build in would be dope. cheers Andy
One last idea: Is it possible to add automatic (and/or randomish) movement paths for the x/y pad, so we don´t have to waste that cool movement slots. That would be a nice featur imo. Blinksonics Cataliz for example has hard patched movement box, together with stereo field operations. chees PS the stereo field stuff could be done by adding LFOs to the widening knobs.
but how to play the bank idea ? i mean, i have banks to place the idea but i cant reproduce them all at once, only the bank 1 then i have to change to 2 whenever i want.
That's correct, banks are just sequencer slots that can hold different patterns, and you can flick through these using MIDI keys: C6 to B6 to switch patterns
Yes, sure. There is a whole mapping and routings page (accessed from the settings menu), that allows you to route each drum out of any multi out channel to your DAW mixer, including the FX sends. On the same page you can also map MIDI keys etc too.
is there a way to not audition samples when editing the samples. I mean in the place where the layers are. I got three long samples in there and when I want to change to C for instance I have to click on C but than the long sample plays. This plugin.......... its the best I have
Yes, of course! To turn off previewing of the individual layers, simply right click any layer tab area and deselect the 'Enable Preview' text :) I hope this helps!
I see only one small thing missing for my own workflow: volume and pitch curves on repeats (fade in or out). I use Bitwig and Breaktweaker for these for now. But I love your plugin, I may end up purchasing it anyway.
We'll see what we can do. Thanks for your suggestion :) Do you mean a unique curve per every single repeat step on every individual lane. Or just one per lane that affects all repeats on that lane in the same way?
@@wave-alchemy Thanks for answering guys. Last question: are there odd values in the grid parameter of each lane (1/7, 1/5, 1/10, 1/11...)? About your question now: take a look at what's possible in Bitwig for example. You can take any drum hit, divide it into as many sub-hits as you need (which Triaz already does) and then you can very easily manipulate the volume curve (probably velocity in think) of each subdivided step. Bitwig does that by allowing to manipulate the start velocity and end velocity of each divided note of the sequencer and to bend the curve (derivative function underneath I guess). If you think it'd be possible to take it even further, I suggest you take a look at BreakTweaker. This plugin is ugly and not well known but the ideas inside are unlike anything else. With this instrument, what I described for velocity can also be applied to pitch inside of a divided step. Meaning some sort of very easy and fast automation curves (linear or non linear) on amplitude, pitch, filter frequency and so on with each and every divided step. Their system even allows for non-linear repeat speed: the repeats speed inside a divided step can accelerate or decelerate (once again not necessarily in a linear fashion), allowing things no other drum machine can do as far as I know unless you spend hours tweaking automation. Pretty sure it implies something slightly more CPU hungry and a slightly different logic when it comes to trigger the samples.
Triaz become my only VST for drums since the VST launch. It would be fantastic to have some drum synths modules to mix them with samples but I know I'm asking too much.😊
Having a drum synth engine would indeed be great, but this is not on the current roadmap at this time. We do have lots of expansions planned though, covering everything from vintage game console drums, to modular synth drums, characterful acoustic drums, world percussion and lots of other styles.
@@wave-alchemy The 3 slots ABC have fantastic tools for layering: the exact control of start point, pitch, envelope and filter is all we need. But if your plans include acoustic drums, you could add the capability of triggering the ABC sounds with one note at different velocity, e.g. a soft kick is inserted in A, a medium kick in B and a stressed hard kick in C : I play C1 with different velocities and trigger different samples, not only loudness. Your engine is also able to play a mix of ABC, so it might mix the audio continuously from A to B and then from B to C. Easiest way is by the RH menu in the ABC mix upper right zone, along with Motion and Automation, a new option "Velocity map" that would grey out the ABC mix triangle and implement this black-box, just an option, without user control of the velocity thresholds but ready to work. I hope I'm clear.
Really nice, never bought a plugin so fast! Tried the demo and bought it right away. Too bad I missed the Drift intro price, but I discovered Triaz just two days ago. Waiting for the next discount price :) Now, one feature I badly need, and why I never really used any other drum sequencer I bought previously.... is to be able to properly save locally (I mean, in my project), the samples used, meaning I am sure I can reload them even if I don't have access to my whole sample library. This can be done manually by saving my preset, copying all the samples manually in my project directory, and editing the preset file to manually change the file paths in the Json .preset file. Would be nice to have a way of "exporting" my preset in a new directory, and the preset would use sounds from this local directory. The old but unfortunately unmaintained Poise drum sampler could do this and it was much appreciated. For now I'll use copy/paste manually and using notepad++ to edit my preset files I guess :)
Great update good to see the plugin growing. I have been having issue triggering patterns from the piano roll i can get it to play but it does not respond to note changes from c6 to b6 or does the plugin not respond to this sort of input? Its kind of old school but i like keeping the patterns in the plugin its easier to make adjustments on the fly as well as keeps it tidier.
So when you randomize a pattern, are we getting a real randomization of the sequencer, or just randomizing a sequence preset to appear? This is so annoying in Atlas.
Thanks, this is indeed quite a significant update. Try for example loading any preset, totally clearing the pattern and then using the new Pattern Randomizer button with the Intensity Slider set to full. It will give you a usable groove instantly each time, and it's very cool to experiment with and select different genres from the genre dropdown on the same page :)
Huge congrats on the update. Already using it to come up with new ideas. Love it. Question: Is there a way to also include the old randomization algorithm? Some of the random patterns are too predictable and I liked the old way to come up with things I wasn't expecting, especially for synth and basslines. Thanks!
Old rocker here! Hey can you guys develop expansions packs that us old players/recorders for rock, acoustic and acoustic sounds from the 60s and 70s? Add in 80s classic drum sounds and we are good to go! Great work guys!
We haven't currently got anything planned specifically for this style at the moment, but we can look into this. Having said that, our first expansion (named Drift) is all about acoustic drums, and includes a lot of drum kits and gear from those eras. However the sounds are specifically designed to be very characterful / thick / lo-fi rather than bright and rocky. But it will include 13,000 brand new acoustic drums and in my opinion it is our best collection of drums to date.
@@wave-alchemy I will await your first expansion. Sounds like it might do the trick. I also have my own drum samples I can use too! What is the price point of the expansions?
@@transformativebeliefwork The expansion prices will range anywhere from £19 to £79, depending on the complexity / number of sounds / presets. For example we are working on smaller expansions that have just a few hundred very focused drums, with 100 or so presets, and we have expansions like Drift that will essentially be as big as the factory content - 13,000 brand new samples and around 500 presets. Drift will likely be between £49-£55 intro price for those that own Triaz already.
Seems a very cool drum tool, I have a question if I may. Let's say I import my drums and I choose a kick to play with a certain pattern, can I change it on the fly ? Like having left an right arrow to browse samples without leaving the main panel with the pattern ? Thx for the answer guys.
It's there within the 'settings / Wrench' menu at the top right of Triaz. Clicking that menu shows the current version number at the bottom of the menu :)
checked this latest update and found some really cool new stuff. i have a question, though. I have saved some kits i have made and i want to delete them, how do i do that?
Awesome update. I keep wondering what sort of instrument is next for Wave Alchemy and will it have a sequencer? I know... whatever it will be is a secret. I am so happy this got moved from a scripted Kontakt instrument to your own plugin independent of NI. The Native Access thing has been driving me bananas lately... so buggy.
We have a few products in the works currently - making our Revolution (vintage drum machine emulations) instrument a native plugin with way more drum machine emulations, a cassette / tape plugin with a twist, a mix bus plugin and a few others.
It would be great if the kit and pattern randomizer could be manually automated externally. This would open possibilities for live performances. Also, it would be pretty cool if you could define a key and scale (also that can be automated externally) and that all samples (even when randomizing their pitch) remain in the determined scale...a well-tuned kit is severely underrated, and it's the final glue on any track
it would be handy if all effect settings could be saved at the same time. Not only individually. If you have tweaked a lot - then it's a lot of work to save all the separate individual effect settings.
You can save entire channels in Triaz, including all channel FX, sound selection and even the sequence. You can do this by clicking the 3-dots icon at the bottom of any mixer channel 👍
Would be cool if you would show something for techno etc. - I use NI Battery a lot but i would give this a try with this random function...but for techno
Sure, we will do a more in depth video at the Randomizer in use with different genres. I can assure you that this works very well. You can also try the free 14-day demo on the Triaz product page, but bear in mind this has limited content and randomization options.
Joining in, we need MIDI out. Or better yet, take the sequencer out of Triaz, add MIDI out, and make it a standalone option to push other drum machines. That would be awesome, and currently unique. No one (that I know of) makes a stand alone software VST MIDI Drum Sequencer as nice and as capable as Triaz's sequencer. 🙏
Yes, you can do this on Disk. Simply right-click the 'all user presets' title in the preset browser, and choose 'show in explorer'. This will open the user presets folder where you can delete presets, change their names etc. You will need to hit the refresh icon in the preset browser to see the changes (or this will happen automatically the next time you load Triaz).
Hi, In the pattern randomizer, if I am on any pattern bank other than pattern bank 1, clicking the dice to randomize a sequencer lane just takes me back to bank 1 without randomizing anything.
Great Plugin! A few small change request from my side, 1. when we click on the sample waveform - explorer opens to locate the sample and I don't see an option to just listen to the sample. I think it would be intuitive if we can divide the sample waveform space - clicking on , let's say, left side - only play that sample, not all 3, just that sample, and the right side we can use for dragging and droppin or may be opening the explorer. 2. It would be great if the waveform view changes in real time - that means if I reverse a sample, that should be reversed in waveform as well. 3. although we have randomizer/lock kit/lock pattern mow, in stock genre specific pattern number can be increase -now there is only one pattern per kit I believe. Thanks again - this plugin has all the potential to be industry leader!
Hi, Thanks very much! 1. This simply uses your operating systems native browser when using that feature (just like loading a sound to a pad in Battery for example). Depending on the OS used, I believe it's possible to have a play button when using this. You can also already preview the 3 drum layers that make up a drum channel. To do this, right click any Layer Tab area, and a menu will show and you can turn on 'preview'. Now clicking any layer tab will preview just that layer :) 2. If you have loaded a drum and have that layer selected, pressing the reverse button in Triaz should definitely visually reverse the waveform. Are you not seeing that? 3. You get 12 unique patterns per kit in Triaz. If you are on the Pattern Randomizer page and click the 'create new bank' button at the bottom of the page, each time you now Randomize the full kit the new pattern will be placed into a separate bank. I hope this helps.
@@wave-alchemy thanks for the reply..just tried these 1. It worked perfectly, thanks 2. No....when I reverse , it doesnt change instantly, if I go to another tab and come back , then I see the reveresed waveform. 3. Yes this works. This feature is great, but I was thinking about genre specific MIDIs with intros and fills... 4. One more thing, an in built browser with sample playback feature (external samples, anywhere on the system) / or to have the option to set multiple user sample library location would be great! 5. I think no/very few drum plugin have this feature - to see the pitch of a sample - we can change it with the coarse/fine knob as well and see the difference!
I love that I purchased this device. I am asking though. Is there a way to ask to add more RnB or Urban RnB and kits and patterns. Maybe some Trap Soul. I do appreciate what this VST does.
OMG. I cannot believe you fixed the slow load UI that was only affecting a few of us users… Thank you so much! I can finally use Triaz as my main game. Amazing. Any chance you can share what the root cause was?
Yes, it took a while for us to fix this one, and in the end a user experiencing this issue had a video call with us to help track the issue in real time. It was a very specific graphics related issue affecting a few people on a very specific Mac setup.
because this is the standalone version. If you own the Kontakt version I believe you are entitled to a free crossgrade to the standalone VST, just send them an email
Triaz is now a fully native plugin (no Kontakt required at all). If you weren't aware of this or purchased Triaz elsewhere originally, reach out to us via email since you will get Triaz native for free!
Hi, audio export is definitely working as expected in Cubase 13 here. We use that DAW daily, and have never come across an issue, nor have we received any similar feedback. Is this on Mac or Windows, and what project settings are you running in terms of Sample rate / bit depth?
@@campingroadtrips This shouldn't make any difference at all, I was just wondering so I could test here. But I have tried every single sample rate and bit depth combination and I cannot seem to recreate this. Are you definitely dragging the audio out to the arrange window in an empty area or to an existing audio track?
@@wave-alchemy Thank you for replying, I decided to uninstall & re-install, and it worked as planned, windows eh? lol, spreading the news on social, excellent product, thank you so much, :)
Hi! We don't see a way of making Triaz into a Live Drum Rack without it feeling far inferior than the plugin version. We would only be able to implement a fraction of what is possible in the plugin into a drum rack. It would essentially turn out to be a sample pack with a few added bonus features. We also have lots of expansions planned for Triaz and we can't see how these would tie in with such an idea at this time - I feel it would just confuse people. You get access to all the raw WAV files with Triaz by default, and so you could just as easily build your own Drum Racks with those if that is what you prefer :) I hope this helps!
Hi! Unfortunately there is no way to reset demo counters currently. We do offer a no questions asked 14-day return / refund policy though, and so if you buy and want a refund within 14 days of purchasing, we will happily refund you :)
please please add a fills randomizer...and presets for fills, and transitions. Huge need for a transition and fills section just like toontrack superior...thats the only thing triaz is missing
would be great to have: 1) standart EQ per layer/channel - just add that you have from master section to the channel - I want to sculpt my layers the way I want PS. let’s say I want to cut out a click from something or do some surgical sculpting per layer… PS2. I did not see in the video if I can cut a sample from both sides?..? 2) noise with envelope follower per channel - noise is necessary but without envelope follower it useless 3) please add frequency shifter! - If you work with samples and drums you might know how fun it can be. And if its a good one than even it can be a necessary 4) good stretching algorithm would be absolute amazing!!! - per channel of course! Guys, I want to be unique, thats why per channel!!! )) 5) Reverse - in the repeat section would be great - also with stretch algo per channel to be used with reverse would be very fun - also to make revese reverb would be fun - per item in the sequencer! lets say in the loop that I made there is five snares per 4 bar and I want to make snares number 3 in reverse with frequence shifter and a few more effects ☝️ 6) I did not see if I can make EQ cuts in sends PRE fader? also of course per channel 7) I did not see here a multi out to the DAW, but I hope it’s available here I did not think that I need another drum/sampler plugin but you guys made me interested! Watching carefully on the development!!! I wish you and us a good luck with this product
i pressed ctrl z after i made a mistake in triaz and it removed the plugin from my chain in live instead of undoing my change in triaz 😢 i love this plugin so much but this made me cry and scream and beg god for mercy. if you guys can add ctrl z as a hotkey in triaz to prevent this from happening to anyone else i would love it even more
We wouldn't be able to do that, since in many DAWs, if the plugin is not in focus, or depending on the view, it will affect the DAW instead of the plugin. which is exactly what you experienced.
@@wave-alchemy I mean I've definitely used plugins that have that hotkey functionality and Triaz was definitely in focus - I had been doing nothing but tweaking the sequence for about 15-20 minutes and hadn't touched anything else in the daw.
@@eyelash5948 Yes, we use Hot Keys in Triaz too for non destructive things like opening Sequencer page, opening Randomizer page and many other things. But we don't want to add undo as a hot key because of the reason you experienced. In Some Daws even being in focus is not enough, and you have to click the UI for it to be focused on. We have buttons for undo and redo instead on the UI and will use Hot Keys only for non destructive commands :)
Is there a way to nudge a track forward or backward in time to change the feel? I also have xo drum vst and it has a dial on each track that lets you nudge very easy. Can't seem to do the same thing with Triaz.
Yes, you can nudge it back in time very easily by using the new 'Sample Delay' feature shown in this video at 7:05. Using this allows you to nudge entire channels, or just individual layers back by up to 150ms. Or, you can go far deeper and nudge the actual individual steps within each sequencer lane forward and / or back as much as you like using the 'Start' sequencer. Or using the sequencer humanization (specifically the new features in this video) let's you get pretty deep with this sort of thing in a much more human / randomized kind of way :)
All we want is midi out. I love this drum machine but I literally moved the vst to my shit folder because so many other plugins (while they don’t do stuff as well as trial) they have midi out. Seriously guys why is this not a feature
Oh no... big deal breaker for me, so stupid I can't believe it :( I can use FLAC files with drag/drop, no issues. Good news as 100% of my samples are converted to flac. Why waste hard drive space with wav? I convert all my sample packs to flac. But for browsing samples within "User Samples"... only wav files are shown!! And more ridiculous is the fact that if I rename the flac files to ... ".wav", even though they are not wav... then they are shown and played correctly within the browser! Hopefully this will be fixed in a future update... seems to be a very small fix!!
MIDI out and this is golden.
Please please add the “midi out” option, so we can sequence hardware drum maschines as well. The build in sequencer is really amazing.
Guys, you are SLAYING it! Way to show you intend to continue to develop an already killer tool.
Thanks!

Tie!
Just WOW! Thank you!

Thank you! Have fun beat making!
Humanize now needs "Set all to zero" and "Set all to 100%" buttons. Incredible update btw.
@@DougNak Hi, it has a reset button already. The icon to the right of the Humanize Slider 👍🏻
Fantastic update once again, keep on making it the best drum plugin 🔥
About phase, it would be great to be able to change it by degrees instead of just flipping it, which can prove not a solution in some cases.
We'll see what we can do in a future update! Thanks for your support!
Kind of like the menu of Korg Modwave together with you cool workflow.
wooweeewooowwahhh this is such a good update! love this plug in so much
Thank you, and wishing you lots of fun with Triaz!
Great update, thx, can you shift, rotate or slip a pattern, I can't seem to find it ?
Yes, you can use the new 'Sample Delay' to delay entire patterns, is the new reverse sequence option to reverse sequencer lanes in two different ways, or use the 'Start' sequencer if you want to get deeper with timing edits by pulling certain drums forward or back
@@wave-alchemy Thanks for the reply but I mean, if say you like a pattern but it begins in an odd part of the bar eg. 3rd beat 4 16th notes in , is there a way to shift the whole pattern so it begins at beat 1 ?
@@miket2096 Ah I see! No, this is not implemented currently
or just a step at a time to shift it to where I want it.
@@wave-alchemy fingers crossed it'll be in a future update, thanks for responding.
We do have a percussion specific one in the works too 👍
Thank you for this exciting update and for the clear demonstration of it...
You're welcome!
Can you input drums In Triplets or is it all 1/4 ?
Yes, changing individual sequencer lane rates to 1/6, 1/12 etc will let you input triplets. Or you could simply export the full pattern as MIDI and add them via your DAW sequencer if you prefer.
Excellent update. Thank you 🔥🥁
Awesome plugin. Keep up the good work!!
@@wave-alchemy even just having another delay would be amazing!
Hi! Bought it. Very OP Machine. Pls add RANDOM Dice for all sections like Repeat and Change, i mean dices that change the ALL tracks at once (all changes in all tracks). Also let "Randomnize Pattern" change all parameter pages (maybe only marked/checked pages/tracks will cahnge). thank you!
We'll see what we can do in some future updates! Thanks for your support 👍
@@wave-alchemy Thank you for the support! Nice. Looking forward to the future of that one of a kind Machine. AND Triaz is perfect if you add stuff like Zynaptic Pitchmap after it. So the whole beat is in key, especially if you feed custom folders. Maybe some tool like that build in would be dope. cheers Andy
really cool, I like very much your update habits ;-)
@@wave-alchemy oh! didnt read that ! thanks
Possible to have multiple outputs so we can route each drum to individual channels?
Yes, sure. There is a whole mapping and routings page (accessed from the settings menu), that allows you to route each drum out of any multi out channel to your DAW mixer, including the FX sends. On the same page you can also map MIDI keys etc too.
is there an way to shift the pattern stepwise right/left 1/16? would an nice groovebox feature.
No currently, but there are two ways to reverse each sequencer lane pattern as shown in the video. it's a good feature request!
@@wave-alchemy ❤
is there a way to not audition samples when editing the samples.
I mean in the place where the layers are.
I got three long samples in there and when I want to change to C for instance I have to click on C but than the long sample plays.
This plugin.......... its the best I have
Yes, of course!
To turn off previewing of the individual layers, simply right click any layer tab area and deselect the 'Enable Preview' text :)
I hope this helps!
I see only one small thing missing for my own workflow: volume and pitch curves on repeats (fade in or out). I use Bitwig and Breaktweaker for these for now. But I love your plugin, I may end up purchasing it anyway.
We'll see what we can do. Thanks for your suggestion :)
Do you mean a unique curve per every single repeat step on every individual lane.
Loving the lock features on kits & patterns 👍🏻
Glad to hear it!
That's great and it seems like a good roadmap. Thank you@@wave-alchemy
Waiting for the next discount price :)
Now, one feature I badly need, and why I never really used any other drum sequencer I bought previously.... is to be able to properly save locally (I mean, in my project), the samples used, meaning I am sure I can reload them even if I don't have access to my whole sample library.
Thanks for implementing these awesome features. Thought about some of these a while ago but this saves me time suggesting them 😉
You're very welcome, and we are glad to hear that you like the new features!
Great update!
Amazing. Currently trying the demo but I'm in on the next sale.
So when you randomize a pattern, are we getting a real randomization of the sequencer, or just randomizing a sequence preset to appear? This is so annoying in Atlas.
Fantastic update! You guys are amazing thanks!
Thanks!
Thank you!
There's no way to use the old randomizer algorithm currently, but maybe we can add back in an option to choose to use it 👍
Old rocker here!
@@wave-alchemy Sounds wonderful! Looking forward to purchasing Drift!
Seems a very cool drum tool, I have a question if I may. Let's say I import my drums and I choose a kick to play with a certain pattern, can I change it on the fly ? Like having left an right arrow to browse samples without leaving the main panel with the pattern ? Thx for the answer guys.
The Best drum machine ever in the whole musical universe, period.
Thank you for your support! Wishing you lots of fun with Triaz!
An update note on the plugin would be good
It's there within the 'settings / Wrench' menu at the top right of Triaz.
@@wave-alchemy Sweet! I own a license for the Kontakt version of Revolution.
Holy smokes, this is DOPE
Is there possibility to map a randomization button ? To change the drum selection?
Hi, not currently, but we can consider this for a future update :)
Is there any way to delete or rename user presets?
Yes, you can do this on Disk. Simply right-click the 'all user presets' title in the preset browser, and choose 'show in explorer'. This will open the user presets folder where you can delete presets, change their names etc. You will need to hit the refresh icon in the preset browser to see the changes (or this will happen automatically the next time you load Triaz).
Hi, In the pattern randomizer, if I am on any pattern bank other than pattern bank 1, clicking the dice to randomize a sequencer lane just takes me back to bank 1 without randomizing anything.
the best drum machine of all!
Great Plugin! A few small change request from my side,
1. when we click on the sample waveform - explorer opens to locate the sample and I don't see an option to just listen to the sample.
Hi,
Thanks very much!
Now clicking any layer tab will preview just that layer :)
@@wave-alchemy thanks for the reply..just tried these
1. It worked perfectly, thanks
Thank you! Sure, we plan to release lots of expansions for Triaz with new sounds and patterns covering many genres!
Separate and intuitive pattern AND kit locking?? Take my money!!
Those are very cool features, glad you like them!
How do you get your own samples in !? Thanks
How do I change the pitch of an entire preset? Please help.
Is there a Wave Alchemy discord server? thnx
Why isn't the 1.1 version showing up in KONTAKT AS AN UPDATE.? STILL THE 1.0.
because this is the standalone version.
Suggestion - It will be cool if we only see the waveform from where the start point is set to - when moving the Start Knob (DRUM)
Rendered audio cannot be dragged into Cubase 13 Pro , Error: medium type not supported or invalid medium, oh well, to good to be true :(
Hi, audio export is definitely working as expected in Cubase 13 here. We use that DAW daily, and have never come across an issue, nor have we received any similar feedback. Is this on Mac or Windows, and what project settings are you running in terms of Sample rate / bit depth?

Does this have sample timestretching?
Where do i get the afrobeat expansion?
@wave-alchemy Nice but It would be nice to have an Ableton drum rack version of Triaz. Any chance you’ll release it in the (near) future?
You get access to all the raw WAV files with Triaz by default, and so you could just as easily build your own Drum Racks with those if that is what you prefer :)
I hope this helps!
Can you please include a STAND ALONE of this killer drum? It is much needed.
Can we try the demo again? I tried it once

Unfortunately there is no way to reset demo counters currently. We do offer a no questions asked 14-day return / refund policy though, and so if you buy and want a refund within 14 days of purchasing, we will happily refund you :)
So effing dope
please please add a fills randomizer...and presets for fills, and transitions. Huge need for a transition and fills section just like toontrack superior...thats the only thing triaz is missing
would be great to have:
1) standart EQ per layer/channel
- just add that you have from master section to the channel - I want to sculpt my layers the way I want
PS. let’s say I want to cut out a click from something or do some surgical sculpting per layer…
PS2. I did not see in the video if I can cut a sample from both sides?..?
2) noise with envelope follower per channel
- noise is necessary but without envelope follower it useless
3) please add frequency shifter!
- If you work with samples and drums you might know how fun it can be. And if its a good one than even it can be a necessary
4) good stretching algorithm would be absolute amazing!!!
- per channel of course! Guys, I want to be unique, thats why per channel!!! ))
5) Reverse
- in the repeat section would be great
- also with stretch algo per channel to be used with reverse would be very fun
- also to make revese reverb would be fun
- per item in the sequencer! lets say in the loop that I made there is five snares per 4 bar and I want to make snares number 3 in reverse with frequence shifter and a few more effects ☝️
6) I did not see if I can make EQ cuts in sends PRE fader? also of course per channel
7) I did not see here a multi out to the DAW, but I hope it’s available here
I did not think that I need another drum/sampler plugin but you guys made me interested!
Yes, you are listening to your customers. Will there be a chord generator in the works? LOL
Please add reggae to the genre option!
❤️👍💯
All we want is midi out. I love this drum machine but I literally moved the vst to my shit folder because so many other plugins (while they don’t do stuff as well as trial) they have midi out. Seriously guys why is this not a feature
Oh no... big deal breaker for me, so stupid I can't believe it :(
I can use FLAC files with drag/drop, no issues.
