thats a really fancy hammer for a fence guy. :)
Everyone on our crew gets one their first Christmas with us. A $300 Martinez will save 10’s of thousands on elbow repair. 😁
@@farmfencesolutionsllc thats awesome! keep up the good work. :)
Hello Stoney Ridge Farmer! Oh it seems there is not much worse job on the farm as fixing fence! Especially barbed wire, when it gets all tangled up! We are a farm family of 5 girls! Us girls are in charge of the cow herd, sheep herd, and goat herd! So…. we put up and fix a LOT of fence! I am fourteen and I am the voice behind our UA-cam channel! Thank you for sharing how to fix woven fence! Blessings to you from Kansas!
Luke definitely knows his trade. A very interesting and informative fence repair video. Enjoyed.
LUKE & JOSH ,
THANX 4 EXCELLANT DEMO.!
Jimmy In TX
Hey guy,great video!If I was there,I'd take both of you to lunch!I like learning,thanks!
Josh, I've seen a few fence repairs on UA-cam now, but this was pretty slick! Cool video bro! Thanks!
Glad to help
Ingenious repair ..maybe you should have invested in rubber gates and fences
Later Later 🙋♀️ beautiful repair!!
Worst thing about owning a farm is you do half of all damage to it with tractors, combines, trailers all by yourself, and then have to do 100% of the repairs. I've knocked doors off, hit fences, knocked waterers, beat equipment on known stumps and rocks, and torn out wires. Not all growing glory on the farm.
Yes I broke a strain of a barb wire fence with the bucket on my loader when mowing. We could patch it up and it’s fine but the repair was nothing like this.
That was neat the way he fixed the fence and fastened it back to the pipe post
It's easy when you know how. Definitely a Craft art.
That was interesting good job thanks for sharing take care have a good day
Very neat repair
Luke reminds me of Kevin from KSR performance and fabrication. Doppelganger almost.
My first job after high school was building fences and guard rail on interstates Buster Bailey East Tennessee
Hey Josh thank you for the video I enjoyed it woo
Hi.... Josh nice to see you love watching your videos nice fence keep it up ,thank you for showing your video homestead 👋 bye 👋 bye 👋 bye 👋 👕🐔🐓🐣🐥🐕🐐🐄🐖🐝🌱🏡🎥👍👍👍

Walking fences - sounds like a poem
Quality.
Very informative video. You and Luke make a great team.
early bird!
How tall is that fence SRF?
interesting . i've done a lot of chain link.
Great video Josh
Stoney Ridge Farmer, what pants are you sporting? Thanks - James

@@StoneyRidgeFarmer great. Thanks for the response. You’re doing a great job. I’m a nurse too and your living my dream on the farm. Keep going.
Hello stoney ridge farmer can you please do a store tour video of your local rural king?
Hey Brayden...any chance you could quit asking me to do tours of places my friend. lol
Good job
It happens. I took out my fence with my tractor clearing snow.
Did you make Luke a steak and all the fixins for lunch for a job well done ? 🤣
He sure did! Two filets each as a matter of fact. 🤤
Trees are kind of shady. You crack me up Josh.
This is why people need to throw their Grandad's "crimp pliers" in the trash where they belong and start using the proper ratcheting tool for electrical crimps. That wire is never coming loose, all because the crimp was made with the right tool.
That fence looks good as new, nice job.
Battery powered crimper?
luke said coming soon!
I tear up my fence once a month because I run out of stuff to do. I cut mine down with the push mower. I just use bailing wire for my fences. And hickory twigs for the posts. Then twist bread ties around it like barb wire. It all looks better after it rusts up good. 😊
bread ties are what the Pros use 👍
you had me with the track loader thumbnail. Love track loader not so much about fencing but i watched it all not to see a track loader you got me.
plenty of track loader vids on the channel...check out the land clearing playlists
@@StoneyRidgeFarmer i have i was hoping there was more.
I haven't got the hang of snapping off that wire yet, it just goes round and round, lol
bend the wire over, make a little handle like luke just did, then bend back and crank the handle in line with the line wire...it will snap
@@StoneyRidgeFarmer I'll give that a go, thanks for the tip
Are there any new videos of the farm. All I see lately is one year old stuff.
you're not watching the newest content...I post 4 days a week brand new content buddy
@@StoneyRidgeFarmer I can't seem to find the new stuff.
Probably the operator destroyed it with a cat
Intresting video, guessin you gotta invest in that tool at some point with all the fencing you have on the farm, repairs will be inevitable, and with those tools on hand ,repairs won't look like repairs! Buy once, cry once.
now these tools are much more affordable for sure

Could you use ratchet straps save buying all that kit?
lol....I guess.....if you want your job to look like crap a cheap ratchet strap might pull it together...there's an enormous amount of tension on those strainer boards and chain strainers....they don't cost that much anymore check them out at farmfencesolutions.com
21:55 From the bottom down? 🤔
if you stand on your head right?
@@StoneyRidgeFarmer 🤣🤣
Well do not punish the dozer too harshly... it did not mean to do it. It just did not see it, not having eyes...
Life is funny, how come the bit of wire dropped down the post disintegrates but the bit on the post doesn't 😉😉
on a long enough time scale everything will be gone my friend
Bottom and go up……top and go down?
unless you're standing on your head 😯
