Who Has The Best G#1 in your opinion?
Welp, I think it might be Tim Riley, it’s just so SO powerful doesn’t seem strained at all it’s amazing, and George younce he was amazing
London Parris
London Parris.
London
London, George & Tim in that order.
All of them were good, no doubt, but George Younce will always be my favorite!
All of these singers are great. London Parris and Tim Riley are my favourite! I can't decide who exactly has it the best.
They all are amazing singers. My two favorites will always be George Younce and Jim Stewart.
Tim worked with me a lot on my singing when I toured on the same shows with Gold City and he became a great friend. Extremely knowledgeable and my biggest singing influence as far as bass goes. He also taught me the mask technique. Mr George I did alot of shows with him and also sang in choirs with him. Extremely naturally cut and effortlessly deep. They both will always be my favorites and friends
George Younce and Herman Harper appeal to me the most, but all are amazing
I think Herman is the smoothest of this group. George is probably the best overall singer. I think George was happier singing lead than bass and that's alright with me!
herman is my great uncle or so
Mr. Tim Riley............Always #1. In my Heart. They all are good.
For me it’s between London parris and Tim Riley those 2 have so much cut in their voice. But George Younce will always be my favorite bass.
London Parris and Tim Riley in that order.
I really like all of them. I'd say you picked the best of the best. If I'd pick one tho I'd probably go with London Paris. Then Tim Riley.
London had that low riff. Tim was smoothest. George has the prettiest overall voice.
They're all great, but London was my favorite.
Tim Riley 👌
That Tim Riley's G#1 from "Going Going Gone" is great! I was waiting for someone to use that! London's G#1s are great!
George Younce had the clearest sound in a bass
London!!! No question about it.
I think George Younce probably has the most balanced timbre out of them all. In terms of power down low, though, Tim Riley's on top, and he's in my top 5 favorite gospel basses of all time.
1:31 is such a good G#1. It's so heavy and full
Bill Gaither has my vote 😂
George by far the best overall singer, bit for busting out first octave notes effortlessly. It has to be Tim Riley.
George Younce by far! Tim Riley is a very close 2nd.
I’m going with London Parris, his tone is phenomenal and clear
I adore the picture with Coy Cook
Jim Stewart had one of the richest and purist bass voices I’ve ever heard. Truly a great bass singer who deserves a lot of recognition
Do you have anything with him? Would love to hear...
@@ntanzar911 Yeah, I actually have a lot of albums with him on it. I can upload a few if you would like! Love the songs you picked of him for this video by the way!
@@zane_swaldo im just working for another video for him, so if you have albums that from 2000s i would love to hear them, thanks... One of my favourite bass singers
@@ntanzar911 I have most of his albums from the 2000 to his retirement 2012! I will upload some to UA-cam tomorrow
Thank you very much!
okay, but what about gold city singing in angel robes?! ill have a new life, is there a whole clip of this???
It's part of a longer track done together by Gold City and The Old Time Gospel Hour Quartet called "The Dream". It doesn't have the whole of "I'll have a new life" on it. A lot of it is dialogue and the part where that song occurs is basically Tim Riley and Christian Davis going back and forth singing snippets of different songs with low notes. It's quite an entertaining track and the video that goes with it (that you can find on youtube) is hilarious!
8:17 Very good
Out of only these choices? It's a close choice between Tim Riley and London Parris. Gotta give the nod to Tim Riley though; the man is such a beast!
0:36 F#1 bonus
7:49 jim looks like london
melodically tim owns this. personally im a 50s harper fan but just bein honest.
Can I have the link for 18 seconds? I’ve never heard that version of A Beautiful Life and it sounds very nice
That cut was from his solo album with Jackie Marshall, i'll try to send it tomorrow, is that okay??
@@ntanzar911 Just when is best for you!Thank you so much!! :)
