      When I 1st entertained the idea of Eskate, I wanted your typical skatepark "popsicle" board....when I seen the Bustin Boards Yoface Hybrid, I was all over it.
      Short board Eskate are super fun, I encourage all Eskate riders to own at least one.
      There's now a ton of variety if Short boards based on use case, overall power and range as well.

    I usually take thick risers out and put thinner risers on and tighten the trucks. I would personally try de-wedge risers on this for my needs but curious about gettin TKP on this.
    I'd need clarification from Tynee on whether "univeesal" evolve/onsra/verreal pulleys work with this, if not do Tynee offer kegel pulleys for this. I already have kegel pulleys from verreal which work with many different branded boards.

      Have you done range tests? I've seen such a varying degree and would like one closer to reality. I understand there are so many aspects that affect range, but what are your experiences. Lower end and higher end of your rides?

    • @rafaelvega59
      @rafaelvega59 7 місяців тому +2

      @@silascybin I ride on speed mode 4 a lot and get it up to 25-29 mph. From my rides I get about 19-22 miles of range until the battery gets below 10% I ride my mini 3 pro the same way and only get about 12 miles. Not sure if it’s because the belts are tight but that’s the numbers I’ve been getting from my rides. Also I weigh 160 pounds and sometimes carry a 15 pound backpack.

    • @silascybin
      @silascybin 7 місяців тому

      @@rafaelvega59 that's so interesting and even more perplexing to me because I've been getting about 18 miles in my tests of my mini 3 pro. I ride on turbo (all aspects maxed), I cruise around 20 mph with aggressive acceleration and times of top speed (35mph for my set up). I did loosen the belt tightness and switched the hydros for 105 backfire wheels (backfire are my favorite wheels for my Tynees), I did so because I didn't like the feel of the hydros (less comfortable, duller ride feel, less stable at speed, and (tho I didn't do a proper range test with them) seemed to burn the battery down quicker). I plan on doing a "range mode" test and a "full out" (top speed throughout ride) test soon. (Waiting for good weather. All my tests have been done with 40 degree weather, which you'd think would lessen the mileage). I guess I'll have to get a Stinger in order to really know how it works out with my conditions. I appreciate your quick response! Last question if you're willing, how do you feel about the stinger in comparison to the mini 3 pro? Can you briefly compare/share your thoughts.

    Great review as always Scott!! I was debating between this and the Mini3 Pro but eventually decided to get the Pro! Similar specs power wise I believe but the shorter board and lighter weight convinced me about the Pro as it will be better for short journeys IMO but still have enough power to go past most boards and up most hills. I don't do super long rides so the 393wh on the Pro is already plenty!

    All the tiny baby men ( say it in the TF2 heavy weapons guy voice ;) ) complaining about weight are RUINING everything for the rest of us. Just get used to it. Just go buy a cheapy board if you need small and light. I hear exway has a new board for you kids, even got some nice light duty-looking hub motors. They'll last for sure. ;p
    Will the tiny explorer motor controller with the other style remote be an option for this board ? I respect the ability to change any and all settings through the remote, which is not an option with hobbywing if i understand correctly ( app and phone required -_- ).
    Its unfortunate that they went with this style kick tail, as the tips wear out extremely fast. I own a gen1 stoke so i know this. The kicktail also looks small, is there enough of an angle to use it easily ? Or does it feel small / more effort needed to use
    Also sad to see the standard double king pin design where the road side kingpin bolt IS THE LOWEST THING ON THE BOARD. It therefor will tap / get smashed onto the pavement regularly and can fail.
    We NEED fully enclosed belts. Tynee, you did it with the mini 3... we need you to save us. :o
    Something i noticed on the tynee mini 3 that i wonder about this board is if there are multiple layers of moisture protection for the battery AND the electronics. On the mini 3, only the battery seemed to have multiple layers of protection and the circuit board was only protected by the one main gasket. So... i trust that the battery is waterproof, but i WORRY that the electronics are NOT moisture proof. I could be wrong, hope so !
