    I'd rather see conference games later in the season when the playoffs are being fought for.

    So happy to see you are already going towards 5k subs. You really deserve it. Since I live in Europe i can't watch most weeknight games live and its sometimes hard to find a VoD. So i can only watch highlights and your videos really help to know what else was going on, how the team played etc. It really helps me feel closer to the events. Thank you so much, I hope you can one day turn this into a full time career if that's what you want.

    All right, tonight's the night for some history!! Can't wait to see number 1000 for the captain, baby!! Too bad about Arvidsson, though, I hope that his injury is minor and that the 11-7 works out for us. But, if we get a strong performance out of Picks, then we should win this game. LET'S GO OILERS!!!

    Hey Austin,
    I usually watch your content on my phone or PC. No problem there.
    But I pulled up one of your videos on a TV and half of the stat numbers you've displayed were being cut off around the boarder of the video!
    Not your fault, just a consequence of you tubes formatting on differnet platforms. But something to keep in mind, you may want to leave a "buffer zone" around the videos edge so the numbers don't get cut in half. Just a little QoL FYI ;)
    Love your content, keep up the good work!
    Let's go 5k subs!
    Lets go Oilers!

      @@JohannesJanssen4 interesting! On my 55” TV everything fits in the picture. Same with my phone and 27” computer monitors. I’ll take a look into it!

      That would be a sizing issue on your end , not Austin's . Displays just fine on my 85" , phone and computer .

      @@AHockey1993 Yeah, it was weird, never had a problem before.
      At a friend's place, it was sam sung brand TV based on the remote, size around 48"
      @EclipseJay we tried all the display options for the TV, but the reality is that there are no formatting options on a you tube smartTV app from 10+ years ago!
      Obviously a niche scenario,
      But the algo rhythm is ruthless!

    I feel bad for the preds. They’re already having their worst season possibly ever, and the league stacked three games against the Oilers early in the season. This is a silver platter game, Oil has to feast.

      Prediction , Nashville's not scoring 4 on anybody . 4-2 Oilers with the 4th being an empty net

    Any trade for another dman should include Josh Brown

    • @AHockey1993
      @AHockey1993  17 годин тому +1

      Brown has zero effect on the salary cap and is buried in the AHL. He is not a call up option IMO so dumping him makes no sense when his value is already next to zero

    Must be nice to be a goalie for the Oilers where your poor save percentage can always be blamed on the team’s goalie coach.

    • @AHockey1993
      @AHockey1993  17 годин тому +1

      The Oilers goalie coach also works with Tristan Jarry in the offseason (you do NOT want to see Jarry’s stats). It can’t be a coincidence that the best goalie Edmonton has had in the McDavid era (Mike Smith) had his own goalie coach and didn’t listen to Schwartz.
      It also can’t be a coincidence that every goalie that leaves Edmonton ends up statistically better on other teams…

    • @twiki9995
      @twiki9995 14 годин тому

      @ my feeling is that at this elite level, the effect a goalie coach has on a goalie is limited. At most they are tweaking subtle weaknesses, not teaching or rebuilding entire technique. I read years ago that the biggest thing an NHL level goalie coach does is convey and build the goalie’s confidence. If a goalie’s stats improve when they move to another team, how much of it is due to the weakness of the Oiler’s defence and the quality of shots they are allowing?
