I get a tear in my eye every time they call us brave ones
I heard this song the first time when my mother was diagnosed with cancer... i´m not gonna lie... This song held me up through this hard time. Sadly my mother passed a year later. Everytime I broke down crying, thinking "i can´t make it another fucking day", I played this song, bawled my eyes out, wiped my tears and stood back up. My mom would have wanted me to carry on without her. So i´ll never give up. But when everything gets to hard, i put on this song and give myself a boost.
It´s a fucking great song. More people need to hear this.

This might be one of my favorite songs of all time.
I’ve heard it many many times but it ALWAYS pops up when I absolutely need it.
I have a really really rough time with depression and suicide. The meds full it but nothing makes it go away. This song helps me get through when I’m considering just punching my clock and being done.
