If you want the content that fits the name, check out Gaddar and Dana Dan. Those songs are a lot heavier. Also, they have a full documentary on UA-cam about their journey on their first European tour. They're a truly inspirational band and incredibly talented, humble, doing good things for their community.

Great reaction. Great band. When you said you wished "Raoul" was a permanent member of the band, I was going to suggest watching their video "Machi Bhasad" because of the video after the video, but now I have to suggest "Yaad" as well because it's much like "Jee Veerey" as it's a deep look into loss of a loved one with another great message at the end. Looking Forward to seeing more Bloodywood on the channel.

Now you have to check out their song Yaad, they also did something with their money for a good cause in the music video for that.
This is an older song. Raul joined the band permanently a few months later

The 60 went immediately and the best part was the people who tried it were so grateful that a lot of them paid it forward so the thing went on for a long time. This band is just special.

The thing I've seen often in comments about this song is, most artists will sing about depression and how it makes you feel. The difference with this song is sure, they sing about depression but also that there is a way out of it as well. That you deserve to get out of the darkness that is depression. As for Raoul, he's been part of the band for a few years. Was made official in their song Machi Basad (expect a riot) if I am not wrong.

Raoul is now a permanent member of the band fella.
Make sure you see them live, they're touring in the US soon. The most incredible gig I've ever been to, incredible stage and crowd energy.

wELCOME TO THE WORLD OF FOLK METAL
It has everything from Mongolian throat singing to African traditional music you can headband to
SO! for anyone who wants more folk metal from around the world
Alien weaponry- New zealand (Maori/te reo metal)
Wagakki band- Japanese (more folk rock than metal but still a banger band)
    The Hu- Mongolia
Hassak- Kazakhstan (more of an ethno group but they wouldn't be out of place at any metal concert with songs Like "Amanat")
    Arka'n Asafokor- Togo
    Al Namrood- Saudi arabia
(I know there are some badns from Egyp as well but IDK their names)
    Cemican Mexico
    Bloodywood- India
    Manntra- Croatia
    Percival-Poland
    Arkona-Russia
    Baldrs draumar- Frisian folk metal
Dubioza Kolektiv- Bosnia and Hertzegovina (OK they are "a band with no genre" because you'll have some heavier songs like Balkan and something that's more regge+rap liek Space song)
Brkovi- Croatia .... well this is kinda of a punk band but they mix in metal at times (look up the song Ovce ft Sassja)

If you watch their YAAD.... they used money made from their RAJ THE MACHINE jig for something else..... You got to watch it to know that.

Thanks so much! Glad you liked it! If you want heavier Bloodywood absolutely delivers - Gaddar and Dana Dan are perfect examples, Machi Bhasad too.
Edit: This song helped me out of a super dark place, so it has a special place in my heart.

This band... I think they're doing more good, as a band, than I do as a doofus with dr in front of my name.
Plus, they've really inspired me to figure out how to incorporate more flute and violin into my metal... (and Apocholypitca (sp?) has made me want to invest in a cello, fer fuxx sake.)
Anyway, these guys are my new personal role model.

If you like the flute I can recommend Eluveitie if you haven't heard of them. Amongst flutes you will find other instruments you don't commonly see in metal. A rose for epona is a good start maybe. Or their collab with Faun Gwydion, a bit softer song though than A rose for Epona.

Exxxactly and what he dude ^ means with "flute playing "shouldn´t work with metal" as of course it Should and Will wörk!! (at least in hands of such talented musician) ;-) :-D
For example that awesome Eluveitie´s track AND video of Call of the Mountains, which has and contains so many hah "shouldn´t work" instruments in it and/but "still" it works and effects so dämn well inside of you OMGdess! :-)
Pst. He Raoul has sure already been quite a long time a permanent member in Bloodywood oh-yes! :D

You just happened to listen to two of the three ballads they have... their other stuff is much faster and harder. Try Dana Dan or Gaddar for some more "bloody" songs ;)
And you might be pleased to hear that Raul has been a permanent bandmember for some time now.
For more Metal with Flute and other traditional Instruments check out Eluveitie with King, Ategnatos or Aidus.
