I'm a testicular cancer survivor from Scotland and for testicular cancer survivors in Canada well you have my solidarity in both ways as I can empathize with what you've been through having been through it myself plus Canada and Scotland have so much in common as we are both linked and related

I’m diagnosed with testicular cancer stage 2 It spread out nodules i have 11 cm cyst in my stomach area. Just learned yesterday. Don’t know what to do i don’t care about dying. I just want to be like 6 months ago. Young healthy athletic and good looking…I’ll be 27 next month i was on my peak. I don’t want to kill my self because my mom wouldn’t take it i don’t want to transfer pain to someone else. But have i have that feeling to be dead could be best. To be infinite. If i even get health again i’ll lose my youngness i’ll lose what makes me man i’ll lose my hair. If there any one had chemo did their hair came back like before the chemo times?

Life is suffering, buddha said. Hair, seriously? That is the least issue you should be worrying about.

This video makes it too sad and too scary. 95% of testicular cancer patients are cured.

Yeah seems that way but it’s pretty slow progressing kinda thing. If there is a “good cancer” then this is it. Luckily it’s basically fully curable even at Stage 3. I’ve had it and I had stage 2 and literally needed 1 node removed and the testicle removed as well. Still fine now. However there is one downside I now have the lovely nickname of Adolf thanks to my one less ball (And I come from a Jewish family)

I must admit I love being a male even though testicular cancer is a very negative aspect of masculinity but I'm proud of my masculinity anyway as it's naturally part of the biological make up of what makes me a man and with that pride I bravely fought and beat my testicular cancer diagnosis as I showed no tolerance to this dangerous killer of men and boys
