That we don't talk more on this marvelous band here in America, just shows how myopic and foolish we are. Ever since I first lucked into hearing them a few months back, I've been enamored! They're all incredible! They should be up there in the discussion with the big headliners(Led Zep, Sabbath, etc.)! Denmark, you truly outdid yourselves with this band back then!
North America certainly missed out on this band and all the great music they put out. Wonderful compositions, PHENOMENAL singer, and the music has a distinctive cultural mystique unlike anything else heard on the radio from their era. All it would probably take for them to break out here would be for a Tarantino type to include one of their classics in a film score.
They were about to sign with RCA but RCA wanted them to go to Vietnam and sing for the soldiers if the contract should happen but they refused and said it's not our war so they were canceled.
I could identify some of the tracks. Most of them are on album "Wild Child". 05:20 Not sure but it was mentioned otherwise as "Blow Wind My Tears Away" 10:05 "Ain't My Baby Beautiful" 20:50 "Stewball Was So Tired" (My favourite) 29:00 ? 34.30 "Your Daily Gift"
Not so much live as a documentary from DR (Danish Radio). With the "Wild Child" band featuring Peer Frost (guitar) and Ken Gudman (drums) from famed Young Flowers.
This is the most soulful music I've heard outside of Merica.
beautiful music great great vocals!!!
Pour moi ,la plus belle voix du monde lorsque j'étais à Papeete de 1969 à 1973. The best women voice i ever heard before.
