Wow this keeps getting better every time I watch this. Annisette is just savage on Open Air Shop. Awesome and her recent out put is the best out there in the last decade..
I love Anisette and live in SF, home of Janis. Anisette brings me to tears when I here her sing. R.I.P. , Anders. Never mind anyone that trashes her. They don't know what they're talking about. I love her naturally tousled hair. She's gorgeous!
I love the Savage Rose. They described Annisette's vocals back then as sounding like Minnie Mouse on belladonna. She sounds totally original, like no other singer. They were the biggest rock band at the time in Scandanavia.
Not the only but it should have been at Woodstock. the is that at the end. Woodstock was mainly American bands only ... That's why many good bands were also out...
Absolutely amazing band......wish I could have gotten to see the original band live. Anisette's voice is a truly potent instrument. Did they ever play in the UK? Does anyone know the story behind the version of "A girl I knew" that appears on the UK compilation "Supergroups "? It is different to the '45 and album versions and I've never been able to locate it anywhere else.
They did play the UK and US. But declined playing for US troops in Vietnam. As far as the other version of AvGirl I Knew, you sure it's by The Savage Rose?
It doesn't seem to be uploaded on youtube. If I knew how to upload from vinyl I'd do it myself. I'ii dig out my copies of '45, album and the comp track and do my best to give a blow by blow account for you. Be patient.

Smuk og med en vidunderlig stemme. Nød når hun sang og dansede rundt på bare fødder.Og hun er still going strong.

SAVAGE ROSE LIVE 2017/18!👍🏻🎸
Best music of my young life❤
Holy shit, This is something else. I found out about this band from Ritchie Unterberg's book.
I love the Savage Rose. They described Annisette's vocals back then as sounding like Minnie Mouse on belladonna. She sounds totally original, like no other singer. They were the biggest rock band at the time in Scandanavia.
No other singer.. other than eastern psych rock singers at the time.. who I also think sound great!
Very dense sound. So much better than many of their (more lauded) contemporaries!
As far as I know, the singer of the group Anniseт Hansen, Denmark....and she is amazing.... )
I'm a Brit born in 65 but love Savage Rose ❤
Have you any idea when she emerged on the public scene? It's many years by now. I guess about 70 years soon. And believe she is still going on.
I love The Savage Rose! Long Before I Was Born is unicly. And fabulous! Kisses for all fans! Eric

Hvis hun stadigvæk er igang, er det godt nok mange år nu. Måske omkring 70 år.
Hun er sørme stadigvæk igang men hendes stemme er desvære ikke hvad den har været. Men hun gør det stadigvæk godt.
Outstanding!!!
