Wow, 52 lb's. I could imagine a complete pass through with that weight. I've not hunted with a trad bow yet but I'm working my way up to it and turkeys are at top of my list, at some point. Good luck on your hunt.
Good luck brother. I am heading out to the Missouri Breaks up here in Montana on Friday the 19th to chase Marian’s with my Sauk Trail Spirit recurve. First time chasing Merriams up here.
I’m in the same boat. Missed a few up close in the last few years. One was a miss at 7 yards. Ghillie suit behind deadfall. I ditched the pop up blind years ago. Calling them in has never been a problem. I’m not a great caller; maybe we just have stupid birds here in Minnesota. It’s the connecting with an arrow part that’s eluded me lol. If I hunted with a shotgun it would be straight up gobble-cide. I use a slate call. I’ve tried and tried for years to use a mouth call but I gag like crazy. Just can’t get past it
I once had a turkey spot. In my state turkey with a bow means that u don't apply, u just simply buy a license for a longer, later season. In the late season we finally have leaves out which is not the case this time of year. U absolutely don't need a blind if u wear a leaf suit with a leaf mask. I once had a bearded hen walk by me @ 20 feet four times in one season. Late season also gives u more opportunities later in the day between noon & 4:00 pm when hunting ends. Kinda like late season 🦌 hunting when 🦌 r out trolling to find one last open doe. 🤔
Thanks for sharing this video, have a blessed hunt, keep on keeping on
Thank ya sir
