Such a great band heartbreaking they never got recognition they deserved they had everything and julianne wow she never looked more beautiful than in this video major crush voice of a angel
Sad their biggest moment of fane/infamy seems to be thet set on totp when it went quiet, well who cares right, if you know, you know, but its drill right up there with rosetta stone and sisters and the lorries as solid
Saw them live in city hall Newcastle , one of the best gigs I ever went to. Her voice doesn't sound powerful, but it was so strong live. Ah, good memories...
She was no Kate Bush unfortunately. But the thing is when you look at the music industry the women do actually dominate the pop section at the top but it really comes at a cost usually as family and kids
@@paulsnell534Not being funny, but Kate Bush hardly ever performed live. I can admire her artistry, but I have never liked her voice (too affected, to the point of being almost unlistenable), whereas Julianne Regan has one of the loveliest voices I have ever heard. But, it is all down to personal taste.
Watched them live about 30 or 40 times... Their live sound was so much better, would blag the guestlist, sleeping any place, was about 17.... Would love to know what happened to all the other folks that were along with us... 🐧🐧🐧
All about Eve is the band that, more than any other, induced me to identify strongly with Goth rock, Goth art back in the early to mid 1980s. Siouxsie and the Banshees, the Cure, Play Dead, etc, certainly ...but she offered a certain perspective (and panache) to which I could definitely relate.
@@MrAgbxl Sometimes hearing them wail and sob just isn't enough. A little conversation can go a long way, you know. And they do have such beautiful voices. As ours were, once. Before we fell.
Trev Johnson tried to sign them for fontana after hearing this at The Mean Fiddler concert in 1988 but they saying were very honoured but were happy with Mercury Record's. AltQuality FM
O disco all about eve é muito bom ,rock gótico de qualidade com poesia sombria, esse é o típico video que não tinha espaço no gás total e nem no lado B,então passava nas madrugadas da MTV!
0:28 up to 0:42 guitar structure sounds like Blue Oyster Cult - "Don't Fear The Reaper" - simply a coincidence I feel as rest of the song goes its own way :-) Love their stuff....
A few months ago, she released a new album (only on Bandcamp so far) with former AAE guitarist and songwriter Tim Bricheno. It isn't AAE, but her voice still sounds lovely.

Definitely should have been bigger than they were...I blame scumbags like Pete Waterman for filling the charts with dross back in the second half of the 80s...

I once had such a crush on Julianne Regan. Thank you
Who didn't 😂
You'd only have to close your eyes and listen to her voice to get a crush before even knowing what she looked like.
Only once?
Me too

I love this song: Julianne's voice & Tim's guitar? Mucho Gracious?

Where's Julianne Regan ? This first album was so magic ! I can't forget her voice
try this, if you haven't already heard it, it may be a starting point for more of Julianne.

She's still around. I think she went into teaching music, but she & Tim have some new material in the works.
Yes she teaches music at bath university or she did not sure if she does now how cool would music class be if julianne was your teacher
I went to the wrong bath uni it seems☹️
