  • Hey all! Please subscribe to my channel if you liked the video. Also, drop a comment. Would love to hear what you all have to say. Decided to part out the free L120 on ebay. After doing some research I saw that parts for this tractor and many others sell decently well. I will show you my plan for selling the parts off this 2005 John Deere L120. Enjoy!

I've been selling extra parts or ones I don't need on ebay. One thing I found is be sure to accurately describe any defects up front and ship as quick as possible. You want to get good reviews if you are new so people will buy from you.

      Thanks 😊
I have several hundred riding mowers but just kept buying thinking I would fix them
At 72 and worn out diesel mechanic I’m giving up on that

What do you do about them switching parts out and refunding ??

I only had maybe 3 or so people that had an issue since I made this video. Probably have sold about $3-5k gross worth of parts. I usually just refunded them. Overall I made money. I don't seem to have the time anymore to tear machines down and go through all the effort to list, and categorize the parts. It is a lot of work, but seems like 75% of the parts that I listed would eventually sell.

I thought about getting into something like this as a second income too. Any update? Would like too see how it went.

If you have the time to get the machine, tear it apart, clean the parts, photograph, list, then categorize/store, you can make money at it. It sounds like a lot, but I did have a pretty good system down for the past 2 seasons. Most of the parts will sell eventually. I probably made about $3-5k. I could take a tractor apart and do all of that in about 8 hours. When the parts sell, it was quick and easy to find it, box it up (had a stockpile of saved boxes) print a label and put it out for the mail. I haven't had the time lately to tear any machines down so my inventory is low. Good luck! Thanks for commenting!
