This was actually my request! I'm so glad you guys enjoyed it! There is something about this song that feels very "80s" (and kind of "Heart" like) at times. I think the electronic music in the background and the bombastic chorus were a big part of that. Anyway, thank you guys!

I Had a Top 5 favorite female singers; Ann Wilson, Linda Ronstadt, Karen Carpenter, Barbara Streisand and Carly Simon AND THEN I heard DOROTHY 😮 and suddenly I have 6‼️ with songs like; WHAT'S COMING TO ME and REST IN PEACE‼️ Now singer Sharon den Adel I think makes 7‼️ Thanks Ladies for reminding me of her!! One of my favorite bands. Discovered them 15 yrs ago. A lot of great songs. Especially the ballads.

I love Within Temptation as much as I love Nightwish. They even did a song featuring the rapper XZibit...and it's really good...a mix of heavy metal with rapping...a unique song for sure!
Those were my favorite Within Temptation years. "Shot in the Dark" and "Sinead" have similar vibes - and I was totally here for it.

The guy playing the white guitar is the husband of the singer. He doesn't tour anymore as he looks after the kids.
Amazing song! And they always go beyond just the music or even a video. The whole disc had a series of videos that went together in a story. But this is perhaps my fave song of theirs (or "What Have You Done?"). Great reaction! Oh yeah, and the drummer was wearing a mask because he was new and they hadn't announced him yet!
I really like this song. Great metal song with a pop vibe (i say that in a good way) & full energetic. I work in a ski resort & it's such a perfect one for my job playlist. Same for Supernova and their cover of Radioactive.

The song is off the album The Unforgiving from 2011. The entire album is basically a story about a demon hunter. It's the 4th track on the album.
I've been a fan of Within Temptation for about 20 years now. I'm not sure which songs you've covered already, but I can suggest songs from different eras of the band. 'The Howling', 'Frozen', 'Our Solemn Hour', 'Stand My Ground', 'Mother Earth', 'Ice Queen', 'Fire and Ice', 'Sinead', 'The Reckoning', 'Raise Your Banner', 'Trophy Hunter', 'We Go To War', 'Bleed Out'... okay, that's probably too many.

They've only done 1 other so far, "Candles" from the 1st album.
The "drummer" in the video used a hood because he's not the actual drummer on this one. The actual drummer on this great tune is a Swede from Visby, the Capital of the island Gotland, my hometown. Shall I tell him he did a great job?
I think the drummer was not a part of the band. He just sat in for the video shoot. You should check out some of this WT stuff live. Amazingly powerful and with a full orchestra. See link. The 2nd song is Faster.

I love this era of Within Temptation . It was so heavy and with so many guitar solos as well. Also worth checking out is a shot in the dark from the same album by Within Temptation.
Not a huge fan of WT, but Faster and Mother Earth just give me chills every time I listen to them 😁
Within Temptation has a beautiful song called " our farewell" better get a box of tissues if you ladies ever listen to the song

"Angels" is another great song of theirs but also check out the song she did with Armin van Buuren: "Armin van Buuren feat. Sharon den Adel - In And Out Of Love", it was a MASSIVE hit, the video's got over 300 million views.
The drummer's face is covered because they hid his identity for some reason: Their previous drummer left the band before recording that album, the current drummer joined after the album was released, so they recorded the album and shot music videos with the session drummer, whose identity they then decided not to disclose.

One of my Other Favorit Band🤘
This band is one of my new favorite bands from the last year which I discovered about a year while recovering in the hospital I consider them the Dutch Nightwish which kind of makes since Floor is Dutch also it is so hard to suggest just one song so I'll give you a few Let Us Burn , Iron, Shot in the Dark or Sinead

Thanks for doing this reaction, this is a true stand on the gas R O C K E R for sure. There's a great YT video with Faster as the music showing the Isle of Mann TT motorcycle race held annually. Talk about two entities made for each other - it's those two. If you've never heard of the Isle of Mann TT, pull up the video. You won't believe your eyes. The TT bikes race on the public roads at 200 mph. Absolutely insane Believe me it's worth checking into. Love what you ladies are doin'. Keep it goin'
