Nick is a real character man....Charming, full of energy and technically very very sound.....You add much needed maturity....As a group both of you form a winning combination !!! Enjoyed every bit of it.....I myself is going on a big difficult trek next week....Your video helped me boost my morale !!!!
Wish that had just been for show.....I was laughing watching a video of someone we took out a while back and then I jumped in and Tina was like "You sound just like he did!" It happens, apparently.
Jerry, I don't know whether it's appropriate to even ask this, but I'm gonna, because I think very highly of your video compositions. I am just beginning to edit my own videos. The thing I am lacking most is a good resource for music and sound effects. The audio you use on your videos makes it seem like you have a high-quality resource. Care to share any of your secrets?
I have subscriptions to Epidemic Sound and Artlist. I'm liking Artlist more these days. There are a few other services out there like them that give you music without licensing issues. I used to just use songs I liked, but you can't monetize without the license. UA-cam has free music, but I haven't found much on there that I like.
Not at this time of year. Too cold. Nick HAS run into a rattlesnake stuck in the water in a tight part of the canyon. Took some fancy footwork to get past.
Seriously, why pick that hike on a cold day? There were so many others to choose from! I'm glad I got to watch it, though. It did look like you had fun.
You are extremely entertaining, totally insane and the best cinematography on UA-cam. Thanks so much for the hard work you put into each and every one of these videos. 👍
Oof. Good luck with the conditions. I hear they got a lot of snow after this trip. Even down at the ranch. Just take your time on the hike out. Pace yourself and take breaks. You'll make it. Or maybe even get a helicopter ride!
How do you feel about the new law about needing to get a permit to take photos and videos at national parks and use it for UA-cam or anything to make money with no matter the size of the project? I think it suuuucks
Nice. Just recently read about another crazy canyon. Upper black box in the san rafael. Above my skill level but looks like something you guys would like.
Oh hell no! Have you done Blue Tank Canyon? It is right off of Canyon lake. I took my kayak there and went as far as I dared. Of course I didn't have any gear and was by myself, so I kind of freaked myself out with the first major obstacle. ua-cam.com/video/69T_iitZk3Y/v-deo.html
Harper Lee said "You can choose your friends but you sho can't choose your family", you may need to do better on the first part if you want to stay dry and warm. Thanks for the video.
My wife asked why you do all these things with young guys. I told her that your old guy friends had the wisdom not to go in cold water. Haha..looks like you had a great adventure!
@@JerryArizona haha…we’re of similar age and i just can’t help it either. Use it or lose it! We’re going to get into the Phantom Ranch lottery because of you two…keep it up!

Nice Job !
An entire video of outtakes. Glad it was you
That jump into the water in the narrow canyon @3:15 may be one of the coolest things I've seen. He acts like a teenager. So much fun.
Nick makes up for his lack of good judgment with a healthy dose of enthusiasm.
It's a fine line between "refreshed" and "hypothermia" 🤣
Looks refreshing!
The prickly pear sorbet hits different after a big Supes day !
Yeah, I think it's going to be a regular stop when I'm out that way.
Super cool adventure. I'm adding this to my wishlist.
Loved how your voice was 3 octaves higher when you hit that water.
Wish that had just been for show.....I was laughing watching a video of someone we took out a while back and then I jumped in and Tina was like "You sound just like he did!" It happens, apparently.
Wowsers what an awesome canyon!
So much for dry. LOL!!!!!!! Great video again.
Absolutely love your videos and adventures. Music selection is on point!
Great video Jerry
Love the banter. Looks like neoprene gloves will be the next gear purchase 😂
Love it.👍👍
Handlebar in AJ has good food and beer
Another Great video But Unlike some Of The Other Trails You Visit I Will Not Be Visiting This Trail!!!!
Looks like a fantastic trail. Wish the cold water was there in July, I might then consider getting in it.
I’m a relatively new sub to your channel but man I am loving your adventures!

@@JerryArizona thanks! Appreciated.
Looks fun but how on Earth do you know what direction or which way to go?!?!
Gotta mark the entry and exit on GPS (or at least read beta) before heading in. In canyon, you can only go forward or backwards.
youre the freakin man
That’s crazy, what happened to the “DRY” stipulation?
It was overridden by the "Mess with Jerry" rule that Nick enjoys so much.
Do you need to be concerned for snakes and scorpions in the water?
Not at this time of year. Too cold. Nick HAS run into a rattlesnake stuck in the water in a tight part of the canyon. Took some fancy footwork to get past.
Your buddy Nick could use a little couch time with a good therapist! 😂
We'll have to drag you along to the next one.

The Supes get too hot in the late spring to mid fall. Wasn't horrible with wetsuits. But mainly because Nick enjoys torturing me.
Does the road still end at Tortilla Flat? I was there in 2020 and it was blocked not far past.
Yes, still blocked at Fish Creek Vista and then Apache Lake Vista from the Theodore Roosevelt Dam side.
What camera gear are you running? I appreciate the response and quality of your videos. Very inspirational to go outdoors. Enjoy your Year.
Thanks! For this type of stuff, GoPro 11 and iphone 13. I take a Canon EOSR on mellower (and drier) stuff.
@@JerryArizona I appreciate the response and also what Audio (microphone) equipment do you use?
Thank you, again have a great month.

it seems really grippy, u guys dont seen to slip much even on the green wet rocks '')

I think I did this trip back in '21 or '22. I forget. 2023 I may have to hit up the hikes in the Navajo Nation....
I thought you were kidding about the ice cream!! Jerry, Jerry, Jerry!! You’re amazing!!
Awesome hike.
I hate when skinny people call me fat... they're really hard to catch. 🏃♂️
We call our son, Jolly Green.
Or Arnold

I'll need to check it out. Haven't explored that area very much yet, but have loved everything I've seen so far.
It’s good the water was probably pretty warm 😂
At least he found you a dry canyon trail 🤣
Wow Nick seems like a cool dude! :)
That looked like a blast!
Surprisingly fun and beautiful canyon. The Supes are full of surprises.
I can see Tina shaking her head from here and I'm in Seattle. Laughing.
I love this comment.
@@JerryArizona I really enjoy your channel. You and Tina bring a personal level to your videos that make watching a joy. Thanks for that. Jack
Nick’s wink was classic!
Hold my beer! 😁
Common Jerry... you know you can't trust Nick with nothing! NOTHING! Just 2 dudes poking fun at each other...again and again. Be safe out there lads.
