Mikey Day's character's hair (including his facial hair) in the Corey Show is the most accurate thing about the type of men who would regularly appear on Maury.
You're they are all a F-boys on Maury
It’s incredible 😂
I was thinking the same, the whole outfit too but ESPECIALLY the pants for some reason 😭
yep ahaha
The wrinkled but going to court vibe is strong with that outfit.
Dakota's legs swinging as security held her back was hilarious
YES! Both her costume and her physical humour made her character the bust-out laugh for me :)
Missed that first time. Thanks.
Dakota is killing this episode.!!! Wow.!!
EXACTLY the security didn’t have to try hard to pick her up too LMAO
@@thevioletshow101I don’t mean to but I keep noticing her frail stature in all the skits, from the breast plate in the opening skit, her finger bones (I think big dumb cup) legs and hips here.. just hope she’s healthy and ok (are you ok? 😂)
Whoever costumed Mikey Day for this sketch was a genius.
From the hair down to the oversized clothes... brilliant
Right, that's the "I bought this outfit at Kohl's yesterday" vibe of a man who needed something to wear on TV but has only owned graphic tees up to this point
ABSOLUTELY did their homework, hahaha
That was the 2000s bro "I'm dressing up" shirt
@00 lolACompassionateHeartSchool
The spot on early 2000’s styling, Mikey chanting “ugly! baby!”, Spooky’s dancing, the audience reactions, Sarah yelling “fight me bitch!” This sketch is perfect 😂
The fact that someone was named Spooky.
It's a really gleefully put together sketch.
Spooky's clothes is what did it for me, I still remember my brothers had t shirts like that 😂
@@vlalelrlila for real, just the BIGGEST clothes you could possibly wear 😂
Early 2000s for VERY trashy people, at least with Mikey Day's character lol
the innocent looks of mikey and dakota IM CRYING 😂😂😂
I was crying too!! 😂😂 This was a great skit!!
That's the best part! No embarrassment. Just total pride. 🤣
Shit sent me!!
"Look at this aaaaaass!!!"
Stares right at him like nothings wrong 😂😂😂
This whole Maury sketch feels like a Boebert family reunion or something. 😂
I don't know how to explain it but the writers seem to take inspiration from both the old and new eras of SNL. Well done.
Humor is timeless.
Doesn't know how to explain something. Proceeds to explain something.
@@obscuremusictabs5927😂
@@obscuremusictabs5927that's the times we live in.
It's all "lowkey" this and acting like everything is a surprise.
What a strange and idiotic world we live in.
It seems that you just explained it.
This looks familiar 🤔😂
🍿 😂
LEGEND
@Maury YOOOO
Hello Mr. Maury I watched your show every day after school
Yoooooo
The looks Dakota and Sarah gave Andrew were perfect lol
Those smiles seriously cracked me up. They nailed it.
Sarah def found her acting ground finally 😂
That little smile at 1:54 is great 😂
This is the best sketch the new cast has made. I love it!
I think sooo too😭
I think it sucked
I agree!
Totally agree!
@@stephansteohanlarsen7457Congrats! That's really cool of you!
The fake fighting absolutely sold this sketch for me. This got to be one of the funniest sketches of the day 😭
It's absolutely brilliant I've watched it three times laughing each time
@@jeansteel1516 I just stumbled upon it just now. I didn't find the rest that good other than destroy the world. Wish I watched this earlier.
“Whatever happens I still plan on being in this baby’s life” 🤣LOL! That’s so accurate!
So is the "YEEEUH! GOD IS REEEAL, Y'ALL!!"
technically, it was true 😭
Especially the part when they say “you’re not the father” & he starts celebrating
Tbh, I was expecting the announcement to break that he wasn't the father, and Spooky would go, "YEAAAAH, GOD EXISTS YALL, PEACE." And he just bounces
What a funny is that he didn't lol
I love when SNL finds ways to squeeze old pop culture into the current show. This "Maury" sketch is hilarious.
I heard "Puary Movich"
3:22 not the chair throw 🤣
IT'S YOU! 👀
What!?!
STEEEEEEEEEEEEVE!
Steve! Steve! Steve! Steve! Steve!
STEVE WILKOS IS IN THE BUILDING
Make-up and wardrobe nailed it for Mikey.
😂😂😂 He looked so sketchy with that silly haircut.
I love that wholesome and coy grin Dakota gives Andrew after he sees her “I got this ass” dance. She has such great comedic timing.
I would describe her expression as confidently defiant against society's ideal of a mother.
And the innocent shrug.
And the grandma’s smile 😅
The “Fight me b*tch!” from Sarah was the best 😂
I love there's not a scalated bittering. It's just "oh, yeah?" And then fight me, bitch!!!!
Mikey's stunt guy the real MVP.
Okay but that blue dress is amazing on Dakota
It really is, with the hair 👍
Right?? They costumed her as a white trash Maury guest and she's still a freaking goddess ❤
Right????
Chloe you mean
@@user-em4qv1xz5pit's actually dakota.
dakota's face at 1:54 was absolutely perfect, she killed this
The way she was just staring at him after "that aaass" part just beaming with no shame had me rolling😂😂😂
1:55 the way she looks at him proudly 😂
God his dance at 2:55 kills me, like he's head of a marching band
Why was a SNL sketch the first time dakota johnson finally decided to put some effort into her acting 😭😭😭 THIS WAS SO GOOD!!!!
This 10/10 skit deserves many more million views
I have a feeling 99.9 percent of the couples on these types of shows DO NOT end up in a "happily ever after" situation😂.
Considering this is all staged, their real life self might be somewhat better than this, so I expect more of them to be somewhat successful. Not a lot, but more.
They are lucky😂
IF they do they don't end up in that house.
yeah, that kid shouldn't even be mad... they actually pulled it together for him lol #blessed
Pretty sure a lot of them have a "where are they now?" segment on one of those police bodycam UA-cam channels.
Crazy how this turned from Maury to full on Jerry Springer. Hilarious af
With a Geraldo chair-throwing brawl to boot.
IKR?!!! 😅
Great Mashup, Hybrid, Flashback !!!
One of the best sketches EVER! Those kids are definitely at the age to experience this!! 🤣😂🤣
She has taken on KateMcKinnon's role of being the batty old lady.
Sarah had me dying “My dawwwturr”🤣🤣🤣🤣
The way she says "Spooky" 😂
Sooo good!!!!
Sarah makes me laugh all the time 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I feel like whoever wrote this also wrote the WAFFLEHOUSE sketch. Same mix of sweet & salty 😄
The ending of the skit was so excellent lmao
Omg Dakota was so effortless in this sketch I was like “wait when did SNL cast this lady?” 🤦♀️ 😅
This is exactly what I think about when I see something like this happening on TV. Those kids will see that one day and frankly, it's kind of sad.
I just gotta say, people grind their whole life, Bhad Bhabie was on Dr. Phil in 2016, not even 10 years ago and she’s made $50million and when her daughter she’s pregnant with now sees that footage in her privileged life on a $8k 8k, she will not be embarrassed. She will learn to love the stench of their own farts and humans will be made that much more the lesser that day.
One of the best skits I have seen on SNL in a long time!😂😂😂
The wink at the end, priceless! Like a soap opera, his real dad switched the DNA test results!
I am a long time fan. Since mid 1970’s premiere.
The acting made it!
Dakota's reaction to the proposal KILLED ME.
Same the way she looked in disgust like “Noohhhh, get away from meayy” 😂
And then just flips and hits him with the chair 😭😭😭😭
The payoff at the end, of Spooky promising to stay involved in his life no matter what … 🧑🍳💋
Marcello looking really good in nurse clothes.
The “spooky look out!” was perfect 😂
This is the best pronunciation of the word “daughter” I’ve ever heard.
"I switch the results"
I knew that was coming!
I didn't. I thought thg ey were just going to have the wink and leave it ambiguous or implied.
Not enough people talking about how good Spooky and Corey were as supporting characters 😂 Really added to the sketch!!
Cool to see Sarah in these utility role she has more range than many give her credit for.
Right. This changed my mind about her.
The Joy Behar/ Reba McEntire wig sent me😂😂😂
"The longest-running daytime talk show with a single host in American television history."
This sketch was a fitting tribute to Mr. Povich.
Women also should wear baggy clothes and have goatee beard if its 1990s-early 2000s.
You u never watched Maury? This is exactly how those women on that show dressed @@jus_sanguinis
lol the Maury show posted in the comments and Steve w
I think this skit shows how love and beauty can come from even the most unexpected situations. That ugly baby looked half-normal as an adult.
1:57 dakotas smile, and shoulder shrug is so hilarious
“Fight me betchhh” 😂😩😂
What a great premise for a sketch
So amazing. I’m 40 and I remember these shows and I remember thinking…they’ll have to leave the country.
That smile Dakota Johnson gives Andrew Dismukes after the "I've got this ass, don't I?!" line is just priceless 🤣
“God is real y’all!” Marcello got me good with that one. 🤣
I gotta say, this, along with the Please Don’t Destroy sketch, has to be one of the best and funniest sketches of the night! My favorite part was when Mikey Day got hit with that chair. I busted up laughing so hard, I almost hurt my gut! 😂
I agree! I thought the Please Don’t Destroy sketch was hilarious too. They were the two best sketches of the night and in a while.
@@Sweetmuffins0018 I definitely agree with you on that! That sketch was also funny! 😁
Agree!!! This show episode was a dud, but these couple of sketches were 😂😂😂
1:54 that smile is so funny
3:59 The "Oh God" from the audience is perfect.
This is my favorite skit by Dakota I finally see how funny she is. You were amazing tonight girl 😀😃😄😁😆😅🤣😂😛😜🤪
I thought the Please Don’t Destroy sketch was hilarious because of her. She was a natural with that dry comedy and going back and forth with them. You could tell some of those insults by both sides were actually thoughts that once crossed their minds, even if just for a few seconds 😂 I wonder if she wrote her lines for it or if they did.
@@Sweetmuffins0018 Yeah she was savage in that too
@@Sweetmuffins0018 I think Dakota definitely had writing input on that one. Still very impressed she allowed some of those cuts on her to go so deep.
Can we talk about the hair and costume department taking inspiration from Seth Green and Jamie Kennedy for Marcello's character 'Spooky'? 🤣
Sarah’s wig was giving Joy Behar and Reba McEntire vibes. They really nailed those early 2000’s looks
An absolutely HILARIOUS tribute to Maury, Steve Wilkos, Geraldo and the late, great Jerry Springer. RIP Jerry.
This sketch was SO on point. Everyone nailed it. Mikey Day's 90's faux hip hop baggy gear, hairstyle, facial hair configuration, and expressions were perfect. He immersed himself in this one. Totally believable. Dakota does have a "fine ass". Very versatile actress. "God is real, Yo!"
Shout out to James Austin Johnson as Maury Povitch-type host. He nails it. Always contributes mightily to every sketch he's in.
Overall, this and 'Please Don't Destroy' were 2 best sketches of the evening, and glad I only watched these two on Sunday morning.
"Fight me, bitch!!"
1:55 dakotas smile 😂
This was a great sketch and actually gives light to something real that can be affecting those kids now. There's plenty of those kids who were the subject of these paternity tests who are now adults/young adults and get to see their parents behaving like this just for a TV appearance. Course I'm sure plenty acted similar to this raising their kids but plenty shape up and settle down as well. Lovely.
When spooky started dancing I shouted “spooky go!” 😂 love Marcello
Wow this is one of the best "new" sketch in years...Dakota Johnson can act! Nailed this.
This skit had me crying. It was so unexpected and spot on. The parents and granny were so rachet when they were young, but now all prim and proper. Best skit of the night!!!
Great sketch😂 kept getting crazier and crazier
This was so good, great writing. The parents being so happy and not understanding how upsetting it is...great performances also.
this skit got me crying laughing WAYYYY too accurate
Lmao when the GameStop dude came out barking I lost my shit lmao W sketch
this was the funniest sketch of this episode both Dakota and Mikey killed it
Woww that blue dress and that hair looks so amazing on Dakota and that accent is so funny 😂
This is the first SNL sketch to make me laugh in a long time. Well done.
0:54 Was not expecting moment from a daytime talk show's DNA results, rather than a pregnancy result, for the "Big Announcement" tape.
This is the hardest Ive laughed at SNL in a minute! whole thing was gold, everybody killed it! Mikey is hilarious as always. Marcello's "Shut up, shut up!" and "Who want some?!" was so on point lmaooo. Maury was truly such a mess😂
2:31 just tagging this so I can come back to it daily
I’ve saved it to my Watch Later playlist!
Most teen and adult kids are embarrassed about their parents, but this should be the ONLY REASON kids really should be!
They recreated a whole episode of Maury, amazing.
That smile from Dakota 1:54 🤣😂🤣😂
Dakota is such an amazing actress
She just got given bad movies
Give this skit an Emmy now. 😅
Mikey Days young 90s punk was well read to have pulled out that Benjamin Button reference
One of the best sketches of SNL. I laughed so hard, Dakota is really talented, so is the rest of the crew.
That was actually one of the more hilarious skits I’ve seen on SNL … and played quite well. Loved it!
This is my favorite sketch of the season… it took me so off guard and I was cackling and wheezing on the couch (something that I wish happened more with SNL). Plus knowing the context of the Maury show makes it even better 😂
I love SNL, but I seldom watch a sketch twice in a row. This is one of those that I DID. It has been added to my file of all-time FAVORITE SNL Sketches. Absolutely BRILLIANT and HILARIOUS!! 😂
Excellent Maury Povich Parody. Bet he smiles when he sees it
And they nailed it!😅
Possibly the best sketch of the night 😂
I need to know which writer(s) did this immediately. Give them raises. This was so well done. Also props to Dakota and her comedic timing. 10/10 all around.
Definitely not what I was expecting lol. Loved the twists 😄😄 Mickey is so talented, damn Benjamin button 😅
I just love Mikey🤣
Brilliant sketch. Best of the night ❤❤❤🎉 So glad Mikey allowed some room to stretch.
This must have been so much fun to play, the ceazy part 😂
this is so chaotic i love it
snl does it again
25 years ago they did it again . Maury . could have done this 😂a thousand times can I write a joke on this shit
I😢. Watching fast food house there's a plot
Right this was a hit
Honestly haven't laughed this hard at an SNL skit in YEARS!
This is one of the funniest skits ever!!! Reminds me of my childhood home from school!!
One of the better skits in a while! The Pimp My Ride sketch last week was on point also!
Except, the 'PDD - Pimp My Ride' skit didn't make the live show.
Add this one to the gold list of funniest SNL skits. Please🏆
Mikey and Marcello are CRIMINALLY underrated, and this was the perfect sketch for both of them!
02:41 That’s got to be either a real baby picture of Dismukes or a heck of an AI job!
Lolll mikey days outift is soooo 2000s😂
Dakota Johnson displayed more range in this than the entire Fifty Shades movies
She looked good too.
Thats how characters and storytelling works. If she showed the whole range of human emotion instead of doing her job according to the script, she would be a bad actress
This skit really illustrates a complex relationship between a mother and her daughter. ❤
Might be my favorite sketch they’ve done in a while haha
Mikey Day dancing like a band member in a parade to “ugly baby, u-gly ba-by!”
