My daughter is gonna be turning 8 in April and the last time i got to see her she was only 3 months old. Ill tell you DRUGS are so FUC**D up man. I made a personal promise to myself though to get her back soon. And when i get her back i will never ever let her go. And i will forever be the best father i can be to her. She is my beautiful little princess. You have given me hope and motivation in life with many different things. So again, THANK YOU to you and your music for showing me how to live a happy life again. @Coliche beautiful song. As a father to my 3 soon to be 4 Year old Daughter in April this song spoke to me. I'm actually going to take her to see her Preschool Tomorrow. Your music really is inspirational as I am in Recovery and am struggling with going through Space and separation with my wife right now which means I'm not getting to see her as much so Thank you for the Reminder of why I work so hard and will always keep pushing foward to do whatever it takes to better myself and give her the best life possible. OMG!! This song is so beautiful!! Definitely brought me to tears. My daughters name is also Brielle, Brielle Amber & she's going to be 21 in April....time goes by way too fast, it's crazy. I wish she NEVER had to see me in the shape I was in while I was stuck deep in the throws of my addiction, but I also understand now, thanks to God, having a beyond incredibly amazing sponsor & working the steps, that I can't beat myself up about that shit anymore, as just like most of us, I was battling with some pretty fucking serious demons, but now, actually today, 3&1/2 years ago, was when I had my last drink. She wasn't in my life then, but as she sees the progress I'm making, One Day at a Time, my baby girl is slowly, but surely coming around, Thank God 🙏🙏
