Guys, look into the episode where the scotsman finds jack with amnesia and drags him along on a trip to get his memories back. This is the scene before he finds the 'serpent's cave'. The bagpipe music during this scene is perhaps the best I've ever heard.
Most highland pipes are keyed in around B-flat. But this one is in G, this would most certainly be from a synthesizer. However, another bagpipe from France, called the French Cornemuse is usually keyed in G like this one. You'd get a similar sound from it. Cheers.
The funniest part of that episode was when Jack ran through the Scotsman's bag pipes and they slowly drained of air. "You've done it now." That was so comical.
(My own work and took me a while to match to the melody best I could. :) ) The Scotsman's Theme Lyrics: _"All the way from the Highland, came long a lad from his homeland,"_ _"Searchin' for adventure and glory, "_ _"Wherever he went sweat and blood was spent"_ _"Yet with a grin he faced struggles most gory!"_ _"For he knew no fear or worry, jumping into danger in a hurry"_ _"No braver man from any clan gave honor for his line and native land!"_ _"Now come listen to his story, a warrior from mountains hoary"_ _"From lush green fields, rich blue lochs and shining white sand."_ _"Descended from noble clansmen, warding off *bodach's and the *Bean-nighe,"_ _"having a tankard with a *Fionn laughing til the rise of the sun."_ _"Bidding farewell and go on our way, til we meet again another day"_ _"Then came a distant cry calling him to home."_ **Bodach:* A trickster or bogeyman figure in Gaelic folklore and mythology. **Bean-nighe:* The Scottish version of the washer woman at the ford. This inspired me to create an epic-level highlander NPC Bard for players of my Pathfinder campaign to possibly meet as they get higher in level. The way I have it worked out, if they do meet her, it's when they're traveling through the highland country on a particularly foggy day when they hear this tune played by a piper obscured by the fog. About the time the music becomes it's clearest, the fog starts to lift and they see her just as she's finishing up.
@@dariuszpolanski852 They didn't just like her, the piper, whom they refused to call anything but Piper despite her protestations, was the one they adopted and took everywhere. I suppose it had to happen to at least one of the NPCs I created. That said, it annoyed me more than the piper that they wouldn't use the name I gave her.
He still lives laddie! In our hearts and childhood he will forever live on. Hail the mighty Scotsman, and thank you for the unforgettable and brave journeys. Rest in peace dear Scotsman, you will not be forgotten! 🏴
The great part about this is, he played them to stay awake. Since if he passes out the wood underneath him would've eaten away and he would fall to his death
listening to this is kind of help me get past the fact that it's over now, putting it on Loop and listening to it brings back the Nostalgia without the pain
You know what's better than this. The pipes and drums at the end of the episode as it's fading out and they're arguing over who buys a refreshment. I wish I could hear a longer and clearer version of that.
Never forget the good old scotsman. He was a big part of us growing up, and I'm sure he will live on in our memories of our beloved childhood. For whoever is reading this, and is having a hard time in something, let's not forget that sometimes there others with much worse fates and situations in some cases, or if you are one of them, and know the the good old scotsman well, remember some of the days you spent with him watching his adventures, and encourage yourself to get back up. And in anyways, hard times or not, lets not forget the main lesson our good old hero taught us when we were kids: No matter how tough things get, the key is to stay motivated, and keep moving forward with courage and hope, because once the bitter reality of life hits us when we are already grown up, it won't get any easier. I thank you from the bottom of my heart and soul, for making my childhood great, you will not be forgotten. Thank you dear old Scotsman.🏴💙
I also recommend listening to the bagpipes theme in The Scotsman Saves Jack Part I where the Scotsman and Jack start to their journey after washing up on a beach. The Bagpipes really bring in most of the epicness of the theme.
If you're expected to walk across an incredibly dangerous bridge literally barely capable of supporting your massive influx of excess weight you best fucking believe I am playing those pipes because I need to keep my mind focused so as to not look down.

Y'know a lot of people who're fans of this show often remember the Scotsman being one of Jack's louder more destructive friends but think of what was going thru his head when ascending across this incredibly dangerous bridge that by all accounts should have keeled over from how massive the Scotsman's physical body is. The Scotsman had zero conception on how long it was gonna take for him to get across this bridge. From Jack's perspective an entire day and a half had gone by before he was able to meet up with the Scotsman halfway which means all it would have took was another day and a half for the Scotsman to get to wherever he was originally going since it sure as hell wasn't the highlands. That's in the opposite direction of where he was going. So since they both have no food or water when getting across this bridge what else was the Scotsman suppose to do to pass the time probably hadn't even slept in those days of crossing this bridge because as Jack shown if you put too much pressure on the bridge by sitting down you will fall into the swamp below and probably die. I'd be upset and cranky too if a complete stranger told me to "step aside" because I would take that as a threat.
I actually never understood why in cartoons bagpipe's playing was such ear-painful. This is majestic!
Bad mixing
If you've ever heard them in close proximity in real life, they are very loud and piercing. Beautiful, but best heard from at least a dozen feet away

Given that The Scotsman was one of the few people to ever match Jack in direct one on one combat, he has good reason to play proud.
