My great grandfather and mother 5 generations ago came to America. With all my heart I wish they would have stayed. I Love Ireland 🇮🇪 but will Never kiss her soil.
There is a story about D-Day veteran, a Celt of the highlands who took his bagpipes to war and stormed the beaches. He knew his friends would be afraid so he dropped his weapon and snuck his pipes into his pack and chucked on his kilt. He knew he had to keep the pipes dry when they landed the beach, so he kept them above his head up to his chest in water. Following the person in front of him, he made it to the beach and cleared the pipes and began to play as the carnage unfolded. The battle turned into a frenzy and the troops both friendly and enemy alike were driven to madness and above all else, the courage to face the end. The war piper got up the front where the metal meets the meat and stood there in craters, in shell scrapes, in the open following the rhythm of the battle. He became the rhythm and brought the sound of truth. He played the sounds of war and baptised his pipes in battle. Marking the ground sacred of Gods sound. God heard the war piper that day and judged them. The enemy were deceived and spared the war piper his life while his friends followed his rally cry. They laughed, they protested, they fought and they danced. No extra honour was given to this lone war piper, he fought his own war on D-Day by throwing down his weapon and blasting his pipes until it was done. My ancestry comes from the Dalach’s and Crowden clans of Ireland. We are all brothers and sisters. Cel go deo.

Don't get me wrong, the English did do some bad things but please don't think the Scots are pure as the driven snow. Many Scots love to moan about the English,& the truth is the English, generally speaking, like the Scots .And if the English are so bad why are there so many Scots in England? Braveheart is certainly not the full picture.
The Scottish were Irish invaders just like the Germanic invaders. This island belonged to the Welsh. Even William Wallace had Welsh grandparents and would of spoke a form of Welsh being from Strathclyde which was a Welsh kingdom. “Wallace” means “Welshman”

Always felt connected to celts… my father was German, mother said she was Heinz 57 variety. Had genetic testing done. I’m 1/2 half German other half Scottish, Irish, welsh. I KNEW it! 😁
Come to Ireland any time, our government are a complete shambles but at least their our own shambles.
Una buena marcha de batalla hermano⚔️💪
Gracias hermano!
Widow of Clan MacBean descendant."Touch not a Catt bot a Targe!" Love the Highlands, love Scotland!💖🏴
My father was Danish, good music 😊😊
I like this Celtic drum
It has a very hard sound🐇
Always felt like I should do funerals rites for Vercingetorix ,my hero ,also in ancient Ireland was scared to all Gauls and Celts, when Boudicca fought one of her battle cry was Erin will never be conquered, so both stayed true
As a good man once said to me.... "GIVE THEM STEEL LADS, GIVE THEM STEEL"

I feel war drums deep in my soul 🖤🔥
Ich bin Deutsche, aber diese Musik macht mir Gänsehaut 😊😊😊... Ich liebe sie... Und es macht mich traurig, was die Schotten unter den Engländern erlitten....😢
Listen my friend on many occasions the Scots came over the border raiding & attacking, even marching to the south of England.Always the same old story-- the bad old English.
@@paulstarr6316 ich denke dabei nicht an Braveheart, den Film... Ich denke daran, dass England sich generell immer weiter ausbreiten wollte....
The Scottish were Irish invaders just like the Germanic invaders. This island belonged to the Welsh. Even William Wallace had Welsh grandparents and would of spoke a form of Welsh being from
Strathclyde which was a Welsh kingdom. “Wallace” means “Welshman”
Beautiful

I might be late to the Viking crazy but this rendition is freaking epic. Makes you wanna get up and just be manly for jo reason. Go to work with an ax and think of plundering conquests.
Brilliant, thank you x ❤❤❤❤
