I completely disagree with the narrative that the leaving out of entire verses is harmless...God said that any man that alters his Words will be held accountable... changing words &/or deleting entire verses just so you can copyright a Bible isn't just about making money, it's also about corrupting God's Word so that parts of the truth are hidden... that's the work of rhe devil, pure & simple...
I see a little problem with your thinking, our Creators Word was originally written in Hebrew both parts 1 & 2, once man became involved in translation mistakes happened, some genuine some deliberate. I.e. 2Tim 2 15 KJV "study to show yourself approved righty dividing the word of G-d". (Paraphrased) It's not even close to what the Hebrew or even the Greek says. Trust the original, use discernment with translations/transliterations. Be blessed.
Modern Bibles like the ESV, NIV, NASB, and RSV remove the Johannine Comma in 1 John 5:7 without a footnote. So you are wrong. There are things that are removed and hidden. To make matters worse, Westcott and Hort moved the last sentence of verse 6 to fill in the empty spot in 1 John 5:7 with the English Revised Version (ERV or RV). A few years later, Modern translators reworded the beginning words of verse 8 and move it to where 1 John 5:7 is. This is deception. They do not want the reader to know that there is a clear verse on the Trinity or Godhead that is missing. Also, footnotes make a person to doubt God’s Word. They make it appear like His Word is not trustworthy.

This is just silly. Of course it is in the Bible. Matthew 17:21 belongs because I have over 50 plus changed doctrines like this that are very serious. Also, stop and think a moment. If the devil wanted to corrupt Scripture, he would want to have a stronghold over a person by removing the teaching of fasting and or getting a person to not believe in it. Fasting does work. God notices when we suffer for Him.
Prayer and fasting is edited out because Satan hates serving God with our whole heart soul and strength. The body of our Lord Jesus Christ is given for the forgiveness of sin and eternal life. The promise accomplished by Jesus is completed and the church shares in Eternal life through the Holy Eucharist. Without penance we belong to Satan and reject Gods offer of eternal life. (John 7)
When the priest consumes the consecrated bread and wine he is completing the sacrifice of the New Covenant . The laity imitate the priest when they receive the body of Christ. The Priest completes the sacrifice at the main altar and the laity complete the sacrifice at the altar rail. Consequently, faith in the body soul and divinity of Christ has been decimated.
There are changes or updates that do not affect major doctrine, and there are changes that do affect doctrine and is very serious. The TR and the line of TR Bibles leading to the KJV may have had some updates, but the changes were unimportant and were for accuracy. The Modern Bibles make changes that are gross and unacceptable. Therein lies the difference.
Christians don't need to follow Jesus' COMMANDMENTS since 325 CE when the elect of the elect SOLD JESUS to CONSTANTINE, Selling a promise of immortality Jesus never made for ALL one's possessions was quickly forbidden by Constantine ... they had to make due with TOKEN SACRIFICES like the priests at the temples of all the other gods of the pantheon. The Textus Receptus is a Medieval Greek manuscript, and thus cannot be considered as reliable as older extant manuscripts.

Can anything (Catholicism) good come from Rome??

Even though there are many benefits of fasting. Christians do not have to follow that law.

Sure. If you want to be a lukewarm Christian.
There is nothing in NT Scripture that states that Jesus telling us to fast has later ended. This was a new teaching.
