Yes. Thank him for all things both seen and unseen and he will accommodate you. if you're not grateful for what has already been provided how can you expect him to bless you? the object is in what he has already done for you and has yet to deliver but you must walk in faith in accordance to what he's already given you as he has provided.
bare in mind that everything in your life may or may not have been configured in yet but is in constant work. So while working towards your goal and praying for success we must (in turn) praise him for all the things he has already provided. if we don't summon him with grace in our hearts then you can most certainly expect not to receive your blessing because now you're only calling him when you need it instead of thanking him he brought you to fruition.

Still sounds a little complicated... Just pray the "Our Father" once a day and make time to fast to pray for more specific matters or people. No need to ask the same things for yourself or other people every day. Talk to the Father throughout the day, it's not praying, it's connecting and communicating which is important for random things we face every day. Keep it short, but keep it up.
