CLIP DESCRIPTION:
Darkman (Liam Neeson) dons a Durant mask…confusing Durant (Larry Drake) and his flunkies.
FILM DESCRIPTION:
Neglecting Julie (Frances McDormand), his lawyer lady friend, Dr. Peyton Westlake (Liam Neeson) works feverishly to perfect his latest invention -- artificial skin that could be used to treat burn victims. Peyton himself falls victim to an explosion when one of Julie's crooked clients sends his henchmen to sniff out an incriminating document that's been left in Westlake's lab. Hideously disfigured and left for dead, the good doctor receives an experimental medical treatment that renders him super-strong, impervious to pain and prone to heightened fits of rage. Rebuilding his lab into an underground hideout, Westlake begins using his synthetic skin to impersonate various characters and engineer his revenge against those who destroyed his life. Reconnecting with Julie, however, becomes the unsightly vigilante's biggest challenge.

I am surprised no one commented that this movie is a battle of actors who have played Jedi. Liam Neeson was Qui-Gon Quinn in Phantom Menace and Larry Drake played Kazdan Paratus in The Force Unleashed video game.

Larry Drake was a phenomenal actor. Playing villains was his speciality. May his legacy continue to live on.

I love how in 1:13 after Guzman is knocked down and slapped, another random guy (likely Drake’s body double for the next take or Durant hitting Guzman) runs up, picks him up and just beats him up XD

He is one of the many good actors we lost in 2016. He is definitely the best actor out there that can play Durant.
He also in Mr. Bean movie too as museum's head of security
This came out while Larry was still playing the mentally challenged Benny on LA Law. I was impressed with his acting chops here and actually, he either lost weight or wore a padded costume as Benny because he’s amazingly thin here, for him.
Probably just the wardrobe that made him look different with both characters

Actually considering they are designed to make sure you don't break into them. Topped with the fact that they are stainless steel, it's pretty easy to see why.

good point actually, Liam Neeson is almost 6 foot 5 and surely would stand out like a sore thumb.
@@madallass5247 Liam Neeson is 6'4 and Lary Drake is 6'3. So they are close enough in height it would not be too hard to hide the difference with a slight posture change. And when you are already taller then everyone and scare the crap out of them all, most people won't notice if you grow another inch.

I think there was a deleted scene where Darkman shoots him with his own leg that got cut for some reason. They kept it in the novelization.

Why would durant go to straight to Chinatown from jail? He would have thought that Guzman came to pick him up in the morning and didn't find him (unless he called him from jail) so that's the first thing he'd do is call/contact him and tell him he was arrested.

In the movie, Peyton (The guy disguised as Durant) created an artificial skin that dissolves after 99 hours. He used the skin to create a mask of Durant’s face to get the money, but as he was trying to escape, the fake skin started melting since it had been 99 hours.
