These truly are the best even with the issue that arise with install.
Fass sells a kit that i had to retrofit to flow better than what came in kit.
My buddy and i own 3 rams one of which is an 03 ram cummins 3500 and it was the very first kit I was sent. This kit was purpose designed to use the original tiny lines off the tank fittings. And it was severely restricted making allot of cavitation noise... I honestly couldn't believe it. I had decided to order a dual feed/return sump that bolts to bottom of tank. and ran a 1/2" line return from pump to tank and a 5/8" supply to pump from tank of similar quality (blue 5/8" pushlock) . I was completely disappointed in the cost of this kit as it was a huge frustration researching a solution to get me back on the road as to what the best option would be "to help this pump out a bit" as it could not pull fuel volume it was designed to pull so this sump idea i ran across is what I went with. And was a success as the pump now out flows its rating.
the 1/2 line that came in the kit had this rediculous silver quick connection that brought the 1/2" line SUPPLYING the fass down to just a hair smaller than a 1/4" inner diameter connection. This should NEVER be installed with a system that flows this much as it WILL reduce the life expectancy of the pump.
Note: If you have a sending unit without a pump in tank "do not install this fitting for a supply to pump as it will cavitate. This literally seamed more of a band-aid or "cheap solution" to making the system "a kit" I got rid of that stupid fitting; probably cost me 15 bucks to include in the kit.
Fast forward, you can tell the quality is right when you have a repeat customer dispight the trials spend upwards of $3000+ on these "kit's" w/upgrading them to bigger lines and having installed 3 fass system in all our trucks back to back they are the best insurance you can add to these trucks and I just think all fass systems 150lph and up should have 5/8 supply to them and a bolt on sump from the start...

I run a FASS 125 and a G&R Sump with the stand pipe and fuel return port on my 6.0. I couldn't be happier with both products, they work great together,

Ever since having mine installed on my lml duramax I swear mine sounds like it’s cavitating. My truck keeps going into reduce power mode and I can hear the engine starving for fuel so I have to let up on the pedal and then push it back down like it’s running out? I have also noticed that I have to be careful when I’m below a quarter of a tank almost like it’s not pulling fuel from that level.

I installed a Fass system on my motorhome and I'm having issues with it.
I use my factory fuel lines and attachment my Fass to it, took a while but I got it primed but when I turn the motorhome engine on (Cummins).
I left my return line disconnected to see the return flow back to my tank and I'm getting 0, no fuel is being returned to the tank.
in fact I can't even tell if the fass is even on when the engine is running. I think my vp44 is pulling the fuel through the fass system.
When I prime it I hear it on and a little bit of fuel comes out from the return line but when the engine is on, 0 fuel comes out from the return line.
